This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS9500A-LED 92mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
Pros: put in a 3570k Intel chip. With an MSI Thunderbolt add 16 1600 RAM, stir and you have a great set up except the stock heat sink runs in a hard game 150 F. Replace heat sink with this and the highest under the greatest possible load and a room temperature in the 80,s 113 F. It is very easy to install because it is smaller than the biggest model.
The amount of noise can be controlled at low which is most of the time not sure computer is on at high some fan noise but playing a game its not that it can't be heard,
Other Thoughts: You need huge heat sink to get great results, not so. This is not very big has a nice little lite. It is not that expensive for what you get at all in fact it is cheap for what you get. Much easier to install than years ago so don't panic.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Mad Catz X52 USB Flight Control System
Pros: Lots of lights. When it works it is good a stick and throttle you can buy. Owned over 4 of them over the years. is great to get s stable target lock and throttle has a simple layout of buttons. More lights than you could ever use.
Cons: At that price you would be crazy to purchase it. if money means nothing then get the longest extended warranty that you can get they don't hold up. After my second one I got extended warranty because not one lasted that long. buttons tend to stop working. If you are heavy handed it might last a month.
Other Thoughts: All it is, the X52 with a different name. Its worth about 72 dollars on todays market. Thrustmaster or logiteck make a better and more dependable product. They use cheap plastic. It got two eggs because I did have some fine memories of it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech 963290-0403 Extreme 3D Pro USB Joystick
Pros: Great price for what you get. With this joystick I can do about the same as a 400 dollar stick. Will handle any game you can use it for. Right now I am using it for MechWarrior online. as in a flightsim it just simply works. No light with bells and whistles and don't want to spend a fortune. Their is no better joystick on the market.
Cons: Having owned a number over the years it can go whacky once in a while and becomes almost useless. the stick jumps all over the place. It has only happened with one but it can happen.
Other Thoughts: There are ways to fix the problem by adjusting user section in the game but don't do it unless you have done it before or have a friend that understands.
in the end though it will outlast especially the X52 and later models for much less money and headaches. And simpler to use with the stick and the buttons layout. Don't need huge hands and long fingers.
