Vantec 2.5

Pros: Small, Easy, quick. Lets me use extra salvaged Hard Drives as external backup.

Cons: Didn't seem to be working first time I used it. No idea why...

ThinkPad T Series T60 Notebook Intel Core Duo T2400(1.83GHz) 15
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Great after I fixed it. I Surf the web, do a lot of e-mail. Does those things fine. Watch most Videos without too much effort. I've owned this laptop about three years now.

Cons: Didn't work when I first got it and by the time I found out, the 30 day warranty had run out. I took it to a near by shop and they couldn't repair it. It seemed like the Battery was intermittent and the power cord was loose or something. It just kept rebooting without warning. I started trying to upgrade all the drivers and discovered the trouble was with the wireless driver. Once I replaced that. the Machine started working properly. I still get a blue screen occasionally on Battery, but if it's plugged in it works fine and is actually faster than some of my desk tops. So now I love it and use it a lot and take it every where. It's older so it will not connect to some newer Wifi. Most of the time Wifi works great with the latest Intel driver

Other Thoughts: Refurbished is usually tested a great deal before it goes out again. Occasionally I've gotten stuck, but I often buy refurbished and most of the time it's a good buy.

AT&T 993 2-Line Speakerphone w/ Caller ID

1 out of 5 eggs Cheap junk 03/09/2014

This review is from: AT&T 993 2-Line Speakerphone w/ Caller ID

Pros: Two Lines

Cons: Cheap junk I think. It didn't last a year before the "Enter" Button stopped responding making it impossible to use the set up menus. It also seems to hang loose on the wall no matter what I've done to try and tighten it up and then when we try to dial, it wiggles and then the plug on the back becomes intermittent after a while and I have to take it of the wall and fix it every 3-6 months. No one makes quality phones any more I don't think. My wife's old Bell Rotary phone upstairs still works great. It's probably 80 years old!
