5 out of 5 eggs So far, so good 07/31/2016

This review is from: RiDATA 700MB 52X CD-R 100 Packs Disc Model R80JS52-RDF100

Pros: Cheap! No dead disks yet. Has a space to write on with a felt pen

Cons: Cheap... always live in fear until I've burned a few more.

5 out of 5 eggs Still working great! 07/07/2016

This review is from: D-Link DKVM-4U 4-Port USB KVM Switch

Pros: Easy to set up. Worked right away. Finds the next computer in line with just a jiggle of the mouse if you shut one off. Takes USB mice so I can use mice without balls and rollers that get dirty.

Cons: Wish it was laid out a little different. I'd rather it all plugged into the back and left the front for a switch or lights. It has to sit on my desk under the monitor where I can reach the switch and then the cables need room to stick out the sides, but in practice, it's a minor thing. It probably actually takes up less desk space the way it's laid out.

Other Thoughts: Need one with more inputs some day... maybe I'll buy one with 8 next time.

ThinkPad T Series T60 Notebook Intel Core Duo T2400(1.83GHz) 15

Pros: Great after I fixed it. I Surf the web, do a lot of e-mail. Does those things fine. Watch most Videos without too much effort. I've owned this laptop about three years now.

Cons: Didn't work when I first got it and by the time I found out, the 30 day warranty had run out. I took it to a near by shop and they couldn't repair it. It seemed like the Battery was intermittent and the power cord was loose or something. It just kept rebooting without warning. I started trying to upgrade all the drivers and discovered the trouble was with the wireless driver. Once I replaced that, the Machine started working properly. I still get a blue screen occasionally on Battery, but if it's plugged in it works fine and is actually faster than some of my desk tops. So now I love it and use it a lot and take it every where. It's older so it will not connect to some newer Wifi. Most of the time Wifi works great with the latest Intel driver

Other Thoughts: Still using this. It's 1/11/16 now and this week I had to re-install everything to it's factory defaults because of some suspected Malware, but otherwise it's running great. It redid the hard drive easily and is running faster again. Although I had to download about 150 Microsoft updates! That took all night. Still using Win XP. I often buy refurbished and most of the time it's a good buy. Once in a while you get a problem, but they do get tested before they go out.
