Pros: Great after I fixed it. I Surf the web, do a lot of e-mail. Does those things fine. Watch most Videos without too much effort. I've owned this laptop about three years now.

Cons: Didn't work when I first got it and by the time I found out, the 30 day warranty had run out. I took it to a near by shop and they couldn't repair it. It seemed like the Battery was intermittent and the power cord was loose or something. It just kept rebooting without warning. I started trying to upgrade all the drivers and discovered the trouble was with the wireless driver. Once I replaced that, the Machine started working properly. I still get a blue screen occasionally on Battery, but if it's plugged in it works fine and is actually faster than some of my desk tops. So now I love it and use it a lot and take it every where. It's older so it will not connect to some newer Wifi. Most of the time Wifi works great with the latest Intel driver

Other Thoughts: Still using this. It's 1/11/16 now and this week I had to re-install everything to it's factory defaults because of some suspected Malware, but otherwise it's running great. It redid the hard drive easily and is running faster again. Although I had to download about 150 Microsoft updates! That took all night. Still using Win XP. I often buy refurbished and most of the time it's a good buy. Once in a while you get a problem, but they do get tested before they go out.

Pros: Small, Easy, quick. Lets me use extra salvaged Hard Drives as external backup.

Cons: Didn't seem to be working first time I used it. No idea why...

Other Thoughts: Now it's 1/11/16 and yesterday I tried using it to look at a stack of IDE drives and only one out of about 10 drives worked. My old USB IDE thing works with all of them. So... this thing only works well with SATA drives. Pretty useless for IDE drives and that was the main reason I bought it.

Pros: What's not to like for this price? So far so good. After I really get going with this video editing software we'll see if there are any problems. This would be an amazing machine for everything else. Kind of over kill for just general use, but hopefully will stay relevant for a few years of service with Win 7 64 on it.

Cons: Must be 300 Microsoft updates so far! I kid you not! Pretty tedious trying to get all those finished and working. Many are failing for various reasons, but redoing them seems to get most working properly.

Other Thoughts: I haven't really started using it with my toughest software yet. Magix brand video editing software, but so far I'm very pleased with everything. I'll check in again possibly if I find any problems. One thing is it's doing about 300 Microsoft Updates! That's been kind of a tedious drag, but I may just shut off updates since I don't intend to be doing much internet surfing with this machine. I plan to just use it for Video editing for the time being.
