sweet hard drive
Pros: Fast, comes with 3.5" adapter, low price with egg saver, getting advertised speeds. Reduced my windows boot time from 2 min to just under 20 seconds. Fully loaded operating system ready to launch programs. 7.9 Windows experience index
Cons: No instructions come with product.
Overall Review: Took new egg over a week to deliver product, not the normal with them.
Pros: feature packed.
Cons: Installed amd fx 8120, have problems setting memory speed to mem spec, have problems with cpu throttling its speed. Cooling heatsinks are poorly secured, and run HOT! Overall this board even with latest bios is not suited for the AMD FX processors as of this time. All other amd am3 processors work just fine.
Overall Review: Board is great as long as you don't install a AMD FX processor at this time. I am hoping future bios versions will fix issues.
Fitment works as advertised
Pros: - Keeps gpu cool
Cons: - There are no instructions of any kind for install, if you are not a pro who hasn't changed gpus to water blocks before this will leave you hanging.
Overall Review: Great water block, lacks instructions, but good product.
Nice Deal at 699$
Pros: -Quiet -Fast 4k ultra no problem
Cons: -Draws fair bit of power
Overall Review: at 699$ compared to the rtx 4080, 7900xtx, 7900xt, 4070ti. This card seems like the no brainer for its price point and performance. If you have a high refresh 1440p monitor this will suit you very well. I game at 4k and have yet to find a game I cannot play with 4k ultra 60+fps
Great case
Pros: Lots of space Easy cable management Filters are easy to clean Good Airflow
Cons: -Lacks a factory water pump mount. -Lacks 5.25" bay, people still use Blu-ray drives -No built in fan speed controller. -Didn't come with fans
Overall Review: I purchased this case to house my main system, and my network nas/plex server. It houses both a full size atx system, and a mini itx system. Has plenty of space for drives, and cooling granted you install it. I am happy with the options this case presented me, to easily house two systems in one case.
5800x, best 8 core cpu on the market
Pros: Stock performance is great. With the EK monoblock and a Crosshair VIII, I see 4900mhz Turbo speeds with Auto OC. This replaces my old R7-1700, and is Considerably faster. 1080p gaming saw massive improvements in FPS. Kind of Strange to see 40% improvements in performance with the same number of cores, wow Ryzen has come a long way.
Cons: Not really a Con, but the packaging is much cheaper than I'm accustomed to. My old 8350 Piledriver came in a Metal Tin. My Old R7-1700 came in a nice box with cooler. This one came in a cheaper box, and no cooler (which is fine I water cool anyway)
Overall Review: Great Product, great performance, stays cool, doesn't use a lot of power. Bit mind blown about how much extra performance this packs vs my old R7-1700 8 core cpu. That being said I wish AMD had higher binned models of the 8 core. I'm sure with binned silicon these can reach 5ghz.
