38 secounds
Pros: small form, 10k rpm, 16 mb buffer. XP pro loaded up dated, antivirus , running. From power button to click on desk top......36 secounds....un freakin believable!!!
Cons: about 1/4 inch thicker than std lap top hdd.
Pros: Looks cool, has good name, looks good on paper SATA & IDE interface!
Cons: Real tight install, intial install failed due to cable (I think), wiggled it and lights came on.....but failed install still, had to register edit to correct issue.
Overall Review: Thermaltake shoud redesign, needs more room inside, espicially around interface.
AM4 N/A
Pros: light weight
Cons: No fit AM4
Overall Review: Cant believe no plate for AM4
1st run at M5A-M LX Plus
Pros: Good lay out for bottom power supply case. Bios very familiar feel look. Handles high wattage CPU's. Allows use of Older AM3 socket CPU'S. Onboard vid gives 4.2 on win 7 wei.
Cons: Only two ram slots & 8GB max, CPU power socket can be a bear depending on cooler chosen, or top mount power supply (lots o cable left over).
Overall Review: 1st build with this board was feb 2013, mild gaming rig for nehpew. Allowed him to use older heka triple core(95 watt) killer vidieo card....I am now "favorite" uncle, also its been stable and heavly used for over 1 year. I have used asus since 2005 with 1 issue, that was doa.
Western Digital Rocks
Pros: Sale price, 155 for 4tb!! use for media storage. Like the spin/down/green feature
Cons: 10hrs to format(old school way)
Overall Review: been building PC's for abouit 9 years now. Only WD failure was shipping related. Noticed, where HDD comes from makes diff in packing(NJ=OK...CA=NO). Also buy just HDD, they tend to package it correctly.
click of death
Pros: size, price(on sale)
Cons: DOA, pluged in and click-click-click......
Overall Review: This is 5th one of this model purchsed, and 1st wesrtern digital failure for me....ever!
