Pros: Works at rated speeds. XMP profiles. Low cost for DDR3 at these speeds.

Cons: Could have better CAS latency but not bad. Not the bright orange color (which I had hoped for) that is shown in the first two photos. Pay attention to the last photo, the actual color is more of a metallic firey brownish-orange. That said it is still orange, and quite attractive. I was just hoping for something brightly colored.

Overall Review: I did programming in H.S. back in the late 1990's, work in IT for the military and own an entire LAN setup at home. For a decade I poured over tech sites, and have learned a lot. These are things that allow you to put "high" tech knowledge on these reviews. I can always learn more so I put somewhat. We never stop learning new things. Faster RAM speeds do little for most modern PCs - for integrated chips it makes more of a difference. The industry seems to have shifted towards more energy efficiency at this point rather than more power, something I'm fine with as the common desktop system has more power than it uses for most tasks. I'm a fan of a program called "Speccy" made by Piriform. You can google it, it tells you a lot about your RAM and in my opinion it is superior to CPU-Z - however unlike CPU-Z you cannot run it without installing it.

Pros: Worked.

Cons: Bought Feb 17, died on Xmas night same year. Avoid.

Overall Review: StarTech stuff is cheap, but they charge the government a fortune.

Pros: Got it during a holiday sale and it's nice enough in my 37 year old opinion to warrant a five egg review especially considering the cost. Wide enough for my 6'8" fame with lean buttocks. I'm quite tall and I find this chair to be fairly comfy. The back headrest is high enough to lean my head back onto and the chair seat rises to a good height. I've seen comparable (and worse) chairs go for $40 more. The frame seems to be pretty durable plastic. If you're 350lbs or more I wouldn't risk it I'm at 220 and I'm not worried it's going to break on me. I have mine on cheap, not soft carpet in my basement and it rolls well. The shock is not subpar and seems comparable to other chairs. All in all a decent quality chair at a really fair price.

Cons: Silvery color can scrape off while tightening using handle tool. If you have a hex ratcheting wrench set you're better off using that so you don't catch the end on the silver part. I didn't care that much, but keep it in mind if you're putting it together and want to avoid scratching it. Also, don't tighten every bolt down until you have them all started, being careful not to puncture any of the pleather. If you have animals with claws or toenails you might consider avoiding this material as it isn't super durable. The pleather seems a bit cheap but it does have a decent feel.

Overall Review: Matches my Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 Computer Case's color scheme which is part of why I nabbed it on sale. I build computers for fun and own way too many gaming desktops. I had an "IDEA" to spend a lot more on a chair at a super large Swedish retailer two years ago and I wish I had saved my money and bought three of these instead since I'm building a LAN party for my friends in my basement. If you have a light blue/black theme going on or just like the colors it looks pretty nice.

Pros: Had for a number of years, probably my least problematic mouse I've ever owned. Very solid, and the braiding on the cord is top notch. Much cheaper than much lower quality Razer mice I owned, all of those have been gone awhile... The only companies that I have personally used that can compete with these mice are CoolerMaster, Microsoft, and Logitech. CoolerMaster makes great cheap mouse/keyboard combos and I own about ten. But if you're looking for a single mouse that has great build quality and glides smoothly in your hand with a great balance of weight this could well be your mouse. This mouse actually gave me a lot of confidence in this company and I will be buying more of their products in the future. Go check out their cases.

Cons: None that I can think of. Wish I had LED color changing abilities and a matching keyboard bundled to go with it.

Pros: I had another card that lacked RAID. I swapped my media server from Windows 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro and the onboard RAID quit working. This card fixed that, without me having to write drivers. It can be a bit tricky finding the right driver. To do that, I suggest going to the Syba website directly. Type the name of the card (PEX40100) and you'll find it in Google. A quick download and install (find the setup file) and voila. You will have to hit CTRL-R (I think) while booting to build a RAID, which will erase your hard drives. If you aren't familiar with RAID (RAID1 is great for home redundancy) I suggest you read up on it. There is an alternate way to build the raid using the storage snap in built into Windows. You can just type "Disk management" in the Windows search bar. Right click on the disks to mirror and it should build it for you. Then, give it a volume or two. Lastly, if you have a TPM you can encrypt the drive. Don't lose your key.

Cons: Not much, I wish it was black instead of green.

Overall Review: Military. I.T. Home enthusiast.

Pros: This drive is rated high on speed and customer satisfaction. I work in IT for the gov and own more computers than clothes. In the last couple years have personally purchase about 15 of these. They work fine as a system drive or alternate storage drive paired with a system SSD. If you are looking to save files long term see my suggestion under "other thoughts". I install Steam on these on my systems and while it's not super fast most games load just fine. I and I am not the last one to load the game map. A solid modern drive.

Cons: None. It isn't a solid state drive and isn't supposed to be as fast as one. Buy it for the capacity.

Overall Review: If you lose data on a drive it is your own fault, not the drive's. ALL drives are prone to failure. Read about RAID 1. It's easy to set up.
