Pros: Excellent sound and the software is user friendly. Everything worked on the first install and just as advertised unlike the other more popular brand of sound card that starts with a C. I'm using the SPDIF Coaxial out to a Marantz A/V reciever and it sounds great. The Dolby Digital Live is the bomb! I'm happy to say my days with the C Brand are over.

Cons: None that I've found so far.

Overall Review: I've not tried a DVD movie as of yet but I don't watch movies on my computer so that's not an important feature for me. I like the fact that everything works on the first install and doesn't require a lot of trouble shooting to get it to work. I've had too many bad experiences with the C Brand.

Pros: Everything was as advertised.

Cons: Received an error on first boot "The system has experienced boot failures because of overclocking. Last settings in BIOS setup may not coincide with current H/M states." Since I wasn't trying to overclock I was confused. I was convinced that it was caused by a conflict wit the RAM I was using. Replaced with some other RAM and same error. Decided it had to be the HDD so replaced w/ new one. Turned out not to be the problem. Decided to email Gigabyte with the problem and they were very helpful in coming up with a solution. Ended up downlaoding the latest BIOS update and that seemed to fix the issue. Apparently a conflict with the CPU (AMD Athalon II X4).

Overall Review: I need to RMA one pair of RAM :)
