CyberPower AVR Series CP1500AVRT 1500VA 900 Watts 4 x 5-15R Battery/Surge Protected 4 x 5-15R Surge Protected Outlets UPS
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: Hasn't blown out after years. Have had it for around four years now. In a few power outages it has come through and shutdown my machine safely and securely. The software is average and basically all you would need...

Cons: None really, won't last for hours after an outage?

Other Thoughts: Would purchase again if I ever have a need!

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

Pros: Stable as hell! No problems ever. Ordered 4x4GB for a total of 16GB and I can't max it out. Use the machine for gaming, coding, image editing, etc... The RAM is also very fast and VERY cheap! Can't beat it. This is by far the best set of RAM I've ever owned - will always go with G.Skill from now on!

Cons: Not one.

Other Thoughts: System Specs:
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor OC'd to 3.5Ghz (didn't have a need to go higher)
ASUS M4A79 Deluxe
G.Skill 16 GB RAM
Samsung 830 256GB SSD HD System Drive (blazing!)
Western Digital 1TB x2 in RAID0 Data Drive
Ubuntu 12.04 & Win7 Ultimate Dual Boot
Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 Full Tower
Cooler Master 1000W PSU
ATI Radeon Saphire 1GB 4890 GPU (time to upgrade)
Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler with an upgraded fan (more RPMs kicks major tail)

1 out of 5 eggs Sucks - Hence the Newegg Deactivation 07/01/2011

This review is from: OCZ Vertex 2 2.5" 80GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) OCZSSD2-2VTX80G

Pros: Fast - assuming it works. Which it probably won't

Cons: Everything. This drive dies. Just check the reviews - I thought I had it made but apparently itdidn't want to live longer than a month and a half. I'm severely disappointed as this was my first OCZ product. I may or may not give them another chance. Or maybe stick ot the Intel or Corsair drives. Now I'm stuck with a dead and expensive product that I cannot use. Sweet.
