Pros: 1TB for a pretty low price good for just storage

Cons: I had this come in a laptop, the DISK in control panel was almost always at 100% using windows 8.1 it probably can't handle that. Maybe on windows 7 it can run normally. Its 5400 RPM and its a WD blue NOT black (performance) so that might explain it. I took this out, put in a Crucial SSD and my computer ran like butter. I LIKE WD, probably all my non SSDs are from WD but this one is fail. Stay away.

Overall Review: I'm putting this in a HD dock and leaving it there. Spend some more money if you want a 1TB at least for now or just go higher. At least 2TB then the models will be newer. I know theres more to it than RPM but if you CAN go higher, no need for 10,000 but 7200 is SAFE. Get 5400 only if you can get some recommendation from someone for that particular one.
