Most Favorable Review

It works.

Link Depot Pow-SATA-Y 5 in. 15PIN SATA power Y cable
Link Depot Pow-SATA-Y 5 in. 15PIN SATA power Y cable

Pros: Easy install, Assuming you have a good power supply this will give you more options, so you can add more drives. This is as cheap as it gets for a sata power cable!

Cons: Shipping and handling fees is annoying but necessary.

Overall Review: I attached it from one molex to 2 750 GB Hard drives and they both run smoothly.

Most Critical Review

Good effort... but not good enough!

Rosewill R901-HDDC 5.25" to 3.50" HDD Cage
Rosewill R901-HDDC 5.25" to 3.50" HDD Cage

Pros: cheap, cheap, cheap. Does the job of converting all those unnecessary optical drive bays to Hard drive bays. Free shipping was also nice.

Cons: Definitely some big CONS. This thing is not really complete. First off.. not enough screws! 4 screws for a cage with 3 drive bays is just unacceptable. No screws for attaching the cage to the case either! How stupid is that... what the hell was rosewill thinking. At the very lease you will need at least you will need atleast 20 screws to put all this together. No instructions whatsoever either so you have to guess how to put this thing together! CMON!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overall Review: Every time I want something cheap that gets the job done Rosewill is the way to go. But this is frankly their worst product yet.

Its special

Rosewill Full Tower Gaming Computer Case, support up to HPTX MB, Support Dual PSU, come with 8 cooling Fans - BlackHawk-Ultra
Rosewill Full Tower Gaming Computer Case, support up to HPTX MB, Support Dual PSU, come with 8 cooling Fans - BlackHawk-Ultra

Pros: 1. Its large, spacious, ample room to maneuver both for your hands and the for your internal components. Will it fit in my case is a question you will NEVER have to ask. 2. Well thought out design with cable management taken well into consideration. 3. Insane, insane, insane amount of fans and even a more insane number of slots to install more fans. Water cooling in this case is ABSOLUTELY pointless. 4. Drive bays galore, surrounded by dedicated intake and outtake fans just for the drive bays. Since I was building a home server this feature was crucial to me. 5. Even with all this focus on function, they did not ignore form. I think this is a gorgeous case! Black on black everything. I really could go on and on about this case but I will stop here. If the cons dont bother you then this is the only case to get!

Cons: 1. Might be too big. If you have to move this case even if to fiddle with it in the slightest then it is just a chore. I personally dont need to so I am ok with it but fair warning that its basically like working on your refrigerator. 2. Every cable you buy needs to be a little longer than usual. Sata cables, power cables, everything you need to connect you have to think twice if it will make it or not. The case is just that big. 3. The side panels are really awfull. They rarely close flush like they are supposed to and almost always are a pain to take off. The steel bends easily and if you force it you might end up with a messed up side panel.

Overall Review: You will notice I have mentioned quiet a few cons but I still gave this case a 5 star rating. That is not a mistake, because of what Rosewill has a achieved here. In a case market that is just saturated with all types of cases this one stands out all on its own. They just threw out the rule book and said, it will be big, it will hold everything, it will have great air flow, You will buy it and you will like it. I LOVE IT!

Excellent but doesn't replace a TV.

ACER H5360 720P 1280x720 2500 ANSI Lumens NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready Home Theater DLP Projector
ACER H5360 720P 1280x720 2500 ANSI Lumens NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready Home Theater DLP Projector

Pros: Don't let the price fool you. This is an excellent projector especially for the money its really on its own level if excellence. Here are the pros: 1. Cheap. 2. Small. 3. Very bright and very sharp. In the dark. 4. Good connectivity.. HDMI and VGA and Component. If one of those dont work for you then the problem is you and not the projector. 5. Eco mode is very good and you will barely notice the difference in picture quality. 6. Small and very portable. You can just drop this in your backpack and have a movie night at any friends house. Just epically convenient.

Cons: There are only 2. 1. 720p while good enough for any and all movies is a slight drawback for games. You get to have more content on screen with 1080p. If you dont plan to play games then this does not apply to you. 2. Brightness in well lit areas is not good. Dont let the other reviews fool you, because they definitely fooled me. In a daylit room or even with a few light bulbs on the picture is terrible. The 2500 lumens are also misleading.

Overall Review: Things I can't speak to: 1. I have no clue about the 3d and how good it is. I hate 3d and I dont plan on using that feature. 2. Longevity, I have only had this for a few days so I cant speak to how long the bulb or the unit will run without issues. 3. How big the screen can be without issues. I have this projected on my wall without a screen generating a 100" image. All my praises and denigrations above are at these specs. Don't know how things may look if the image were projected bigger or on an actual projector screen.

Affordable SSD.. Finally!!

Patriot Warp 2.5" 32GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) PE32GS25SSDR
Patriot Warp 2.5" 32GB SATA II Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) PE32GS25SSDR

Pros: Price relative to other SSDs. Very light wieght. Read Speed relative to other SSDs. Write speed relative to other SSDs. And best of all Blazing Fast Access Times makes the PC seem like its on NiTRO. Operating system loads in seconds, so do applications. Unlike other major PC upgrades you don't need benchmarks to see the difference. Once you install your OS and the PC boots for the first time, you will go... WoW!

Cons: Overall Size. 32 Gig in a world with 1500 Gig drives is almost an insult. Price relative to rotational Drives. Write speed is still noticeably slower than read speed. What this means is that installing applications which is a one time operation will take a little longer than usual but note that running the app which you do everyday will fly fly fly....

Overall Review: Looking at the monster SSD intel just released it is quiet obvous that SSDs are not yet mature enough for adoption by a mainstream user but Patriot and OSZ have given us a little something to play with in the meantime if you have the money and need the excellent responsiveness, this is an excellent product. A side note* - This drive is much better than the OCZ core series that is selling at a similar price point. The V2 of the OCZ has yet to prove itself.

Beating A Dead Horse

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100242L
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100242L

Pros: Saying this card is the best thing to happen to the PC Gaming industry in recent years would be an understatement of the grandest scale. This card is a beast! You can play every game out there in their highest settings except Crysis. What makes this card a big deal is the price that it is selling at right now which is 1/3rd the price of an nvidia of card of comparable performance. If your motherboard permits it I would recommend getting 2 of these in crossfire instead of a 4870.

Cons: Given all the positive points it sounds criminal to even point out the flaws but in the interest of justice I will mention them. The card gets hot! While this will by no means deter the performance it might affect its long term use so I would suggest some after market cooling. The current heatsink on this card is garbage! The power consumption is not that great either. Power consumption has never been a feature that I card about but it is worth mentioning given that almost all Nvidia cards consume considerably less power!

Overall Review: Since I got this card I have played the following games in their highest settings glory: Gears of War, TimeShift, Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and Assasins Creed. Crysis is not playable at 1920x1200 with max settings but that game is just poorly programmed. Even after all the price cuts Nvidia simply can't compete because their cards cost more to manufacture. Finally ATi can compete and guess who wins.. US!
