Good Monitor
Pros: Everything one would expect from a quality Samsung Monitor. Excellent picture, excellent contrast, durable design. 1.) It's a heavy monitor, but has a equally heavy sturdy stand. The stand has a wide range of height and tilt adjustment. 2.) The AC to DC rectifier (power supply brick) snaps directly into the back of the monitor. I really enjoy having less clutter under my desk. 3.) This monitor feels like it is built like a tank. It has much more weight firmness to it than the other Samsung monitor that I own.
Cons: Nothing majorly wrong. It's still an excellent monitor! I have a few very minor complains. 1.) COLOR - When I turned the monitor on, the color was really warm (everything was red-ish in color). If i manually adjust the color tone to "cool" everything is painfully blue. If i set it to "normal" or "warm", everything is annoyingly red. I do have magic-color off and all other settings to default. Oh well, I will have to dial the color in manually. 2.) It has a credibly short power cord. That would a pro or a con depending on the layout of your desk. 3.) I was impressed at first of the range of height adjustment on the stand, only later to realize that you can't make it into a vertical monitor without bumping into the stand unless you tilt the monitor back all the way. If the stand only had another 0.5" of height, it would clear without having to tilt the monitor back.
Overall Review: 5 stars because my "cons" might not be really cons to someone else.
