Finicky but great once sorted out.
Pros: Flexible connection 3 different sets of gels for your ears PLENTY of volume Great fit in the ear
Cons: Gels can be frustrating for fit. Charger is not a high output forcing me to use another charger in the house
Overall Review: Bought these and another set at the same time, the other set was a bust. These made my day though, they do well in wet/high moisture environments all while allowing you to hear what is going on around you without removing them when you pause them. Be patient and take time to try all the gels for a day or so before you settle on which ones you're going to use. I am having to use two different size gels for them to fit just right in my ears. They fit a bit different than traditional bud headsets, but once fitted properly they are not an issue to wear for 8 or 10 hours at a time. The sound quality is not an upper end product, but they are better than the previous 5 sets I tried when having to replace my LG Tone HBS800's. That being said, they are not a booming bass type of headset, but they do give you enough that you can still enjoy your music. I know some of the earlier reviews they were complaining about low sound output, but these go loud enough that if you listen to them for too long your ears will be hurting from the volume. And yes, this is coming from a metal head that has ran sound systems for years, so I'm not just a pansy about volume.
Affordable Alternative
Pros: -Comprehensive package that is fairly intuitive. - Well laid out format - More of a complete package than others in this price range.
Cons: - Documentation is elusive about features on each version. - Can be bugy when trying to upload to FTP's other than the company's. BUT, is not hard to overcome.
Overall Review: The software is a good comprehensive package for rebuilding a website. Its all the basics and a few extras, but some of the features are not present on this version that is eluded to by the webite and software. Still very good packaging and usability, but you still will get what you pay for in the program. Not a substitute for CS5/6, but also not the price. If you ae buying this software to make a site that has the ability to log into it, its not available on this version. You have to upgrade to the next product to get that.
Too many issues for a new unit, but too late to return it.
Pros: * Very stable and easy to fly * Looks nice in blue * Great for kids without expectations * Durable product for the crashes I have put it through.
Cons: * Camera has NEVER worked * Not all the motors work all the time * Battery life is dismal and only gets worse * Sometimes it does a flip, depends on the remote's mood.
Overall Review: I bought this while I was extremely busy because for $45 I figured I couldn't go wrong. But I was wrong, this is just a poorly executed build- even for $45. I have never been able to get the camera to work at all, pulled the memory card and it only had the test photos on it. I am a mid 40's male that has some limited flight time with a friend's helo, so I figured that would transition. It did, but after spending a few hours of watching Youtube videos, I figured out I wasn't the entire issue. I have had this out for a total of 6 flights, only 2 of which were outdoors. The first couple of flights were smooth and fun, but during the third flight I noticed a few motors were gravelly and grinding. So I took time to make sure to use some air on them so that they would be cleaned, they only got louder. By the fourth flight it was loud enough that a 81 y/o with hearing issues could tell something was wrong. By now one motor stuck out as the loudest to turn. Took it out on the fifth flight and it was visibly turning slower after the two minute mark. Took it out today and after about minute and a half to two minutes in the flight it just stopped turning, but the quad was still able to get airborne and have some movement. I have tried contacting Syma about how to proceed and never received a response, so today I took time to contact the seller to try and clarify if I go through them for warranty or the manufacturer. I really want to like this machine, but with so much failing its just hard to do.
Not for Adults
Pros: Better than average sound for bud style headset Lightweight, wear and forget type of fit Better suited for teens and children than most adults.
Cons: Odd fit Hard to wear for the adults in our family Only one set of protective gels for the unit.
Overall Review: I bought these along with a pair of Quikcell S150's for high activity days after shorting out my LG Tone HBS800's while doing yard work. While I enjoyed the sound when I could keep them in my ears, it was just hard getting them to stay in my ears that was the problem. So after some testing in the family found out they were perfect for my teen niece. Battery charge seems to be right about 5 hours and she loves the sound compared to her other bud style wired headphones.
Most Versatile Bluetooth Headphones To Date
Pros: - Great overall sound - Battery life is all that's promised and then some. - Great spectrum of sound for buds
Cons: - I can't find them at the original sale price anymore to get another pair.
Overall Review: I wear these 10 hours a day during the week at my job, and they are great. Take time to get the proper ear gel because this will allow you to get the most out of them, I had to go with what I originally thought was too small of a gel to get the proper fit. This allows me to be able to push them in just a bit so I can hear my environment along with whatever is playing on the phone or going on in the call. Or when I don't have to worry about others because I'm in the office behind locked doors I can push them all the way in and enjoy the full spectrum of the music. And yes even for buds, they have a decent amount of bass and this is most evident when listening to hip hop and even some metal artists.
Decent Imitation
Pros: - Similar to the original - Wireless - Smooth Operation - Forward / Back buttons by the trackball
Cons: - Feels cheap - Wireless - Plastic flexes a ton
Overall Review: They have now made it wireless, which is good and bad. This is not the same size as the previous generation trackballs, this will be my third trackball- bought the first in '93, second in '01, and this one- and I want it to be wired again. There is a very slight, but noticeable, delay between input and actual reaction. But it's no better or worse than any other wireless device I love that they added the extra buttons for forward/back, but when they took it away from being wired it was just too much.Still an above average trackball and the only one that I will own, despite what I don't like about it.
