Pros: Device worked flawless the first two times I used it. Quite a labor saving and useful device when it worked.

Cons: On the third use, the device did not work. Device was connected exactly as described in the provided instructions. The connected hard drive did not seem to rotate when the included power adapter was connected to the hard drive (I tried a couple of hard drives with the same result) so I suspect the power adapter failed. My computer does seem to recognize the USB connection but the drive does not show up as an attached device on the computer.

Overall Review: Based on my experience, I would be reluctant to recommend this device to others. I also sent an email question to www.ppa-usa concerning the failure of the device (warranty) but have not received an answer. I am over the 30 day Newegg return for replacement period.

Pros: Power supply has not been used yet.

Cons: Power supply is probably OK but the advertised rebate process cannot be completed. The issue: you need to go to coolmax.com rebates to preregister for a rebate number but then you get Catch 22 - the Model I-400 is not listed as a power supply with a rebate. So...the rebate process cannot be completed and you have paid full price for a mediocre What gives??
