Most Favorable Review

Been happy and no complaints

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9Q-32GBXL
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9Q-32GBXL

Pros: This RAM combo has kept up with everything I've ever asked it to do. It's fast, it's reliable. I went through 4 different failed motherboards this year in my desktop and these stick have been one sold device that has been to suffer with poor quality in other areas.

Cons: I bought the 16GB sets separately, and I know at the beginning when I was only running the 16GB there were times when the ram was having trouble keeping up.

Overall Review: I couldn't be happier, I may switch brands of RAM frequently with my builds, but in my desktop G-Skill has earned my trust, respect, and brand loyalty. That's something not easily earned in the PC business.

Most Critical Review

Okay, little improvment with Windows 8

ASUS VivoTab ME400C-C1-BK 2GB DDR3 Memory 10.1" Tablet Windows 8 Black
ASUS VivoTab ME400C-C1-BK 2GB DDR3 Memory 10.1" Tablet Windows 8 Black

Pros: Boots quick, light, can put what you want on (though may not run), great battery charge

Cons: Windows 8, touchscreen iffy at best, not nearly enough power

Overall Review: It took 5 tries to get windows 8 upgraded (kept saying it there was a mistake and froze. Required a complete reinstall), most games I want to run are hindered to a small square on the screen because of two choices in screen resolution. Don't let the full windows 8 fool you, in app mode it works great, desktop mode lags, crashes, and is an all round crummy experience. Still one of the better tabs I have owned.

Fast little #*?@er

Crucial M500 480GB Mini-SATA (mSATA) MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT480M500SSD3
Crucial M500 480GB Mini-SATA (mSATA) MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT480M500SSD3

Pros: Fast, reliable, easy install, good price considering others in its class.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: I came across these mSATA drives a little over a year ago and have been amazed with them ever since I had my Intel NUC boot windows 7 in under 20sec. I picked up a raid card and popped two of these bad boys in it and it's amazing, almost 1tb of space and it is lightening fast. Still have 2 empty slots which I going to fill with two more of these at well. For some reason every benchmark I have used has tested these faster than the Samsung drives I own. mSATA is the way of the future, just need to get the rest of the world to realize how amazing these chips really are.

Keep the keyboard perfectly dry

ASUS VivoBook X202E-DH31T 11.6" Touchscreen Notebook Intel Core i3 3217U 4GB 500 GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4000
ASUS VivoBook X202E-DH31T 11.6" Touchscreen Notebook Intel Core i3 3217U 4GB 500 GB HDD Intel HD Graphics 4000

Pros: It was fast, and had an easy hard drive change

Cons: Ram not upgradable, came with windows 8, spilled a little water on the keyboard and it fried.

Overall Review: I picked mine up here refurbished in the spring for using while on the road, a couple days after the warranty expired, sitting at a coffee shop and someone bumps the table. A little bit of water splashes down onto the keyboard so I shut down the computer as quickly as I could. Let the computer dry out in warm room face down for 24 hours and go to start it up. I have the flashing green light but that's it. Wait another 24 hours and then nothing. I will admit that dumping a bottle of water is excessive but not the mouthful that fell on this thing. My Dell survived half a coffee and still works fine, you'd think Asus would be better than Dell in every way. I still swear by Asus with their desktop hardware, just a little unsure about the durability of their laptops.

Always Perfect

Seagate Expansion 3TB USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop External Hard Drive STBV3000100 Black
Seagate Expansion 3TB USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop External Hard Drive STBV3000100 Black

Pros: Easy to set-up, Never has any issues, fast, and durable and reliable

Cons: None that I've found

Overall Review: I've gone through tons for external drives in my lifetime, I went cheap and bought and alost 2 Toshiba drives this year alone due to falling over next to my speaker. I keep all my games on external drives so loosing them is really painful, Seagate is always the one that never gives me a headache. Plus with Seagate external drives, once I'm done with it, I can pull it from its external case and toss it inside a desktop if I wish. No complaints.
