Excellent RAM for "picky" systems
Pros: I utilized this specific RAM in a Dell PowerEdge T110 II server that calls for a specific type; that being the modules need to have ECC in addition to being unbuffered. This RAM's official model number is CT102472BD1339 and Newegg sells another version (CT102472BA1339 [notice the A and not D]) that will NOT work in systems as picky as the system I outlined above (that particular module is both Non-ECC and unbuffered). While it is quite easy to find RAM is 2 and 4 GB capacities; finding 8 GB modules was a definite trick unless you felt the need to fork over serious dough to Dell for the OEM modules. Overall, the RAM modules I purchased have worked out great and again if you have a lower-end Server or PC that wants both ECC and unbuffered RAM in higher capacities, this is the exact item you'll be after.
Cons: None so far, I've had the RAM for about 3 months with nary a glitch or problem.
Overall Review: Again, the RAM is certainly expensive compared to other 8 GB DDR3 modules but those will almost certainly be Non-ECC and unbuffered and as such will NOT work if the system calls for ECC & unbuffered RAM.
Been great so far
Pros: This card performs really well. I'm able to play Metro: Last Light, Rise of the Triad, Tomb Raider, Deux Ex: HR at 1920x1080 at their respective maximum settings. Using the GPU Tweak software I was able to adjust the fan speed based on temperature and I veered on the side of a cooler card as opposed to a quieter card. The card under normal load is extremely quiet and I can honestly say I don't even really notice it when it is being used extensively. All ports work flawlessly and just over 1 month in everything is working great. I hesitated to write a review this soon but hopefully things run smooth from here on out (so far so good).
Cons: None that I can think of so far
Overall Review: As I mentioned I have tweaked the fan settings to a higher RPM so to keep the card cooler than the defaults and I've had really great results thus far.
