Excellent - Smooth
Pros: Smooth power over Intel 2.4 Ghz Quad w/ GA-EP45 Gigabyte running Express Video, 5 drives, scsi, etc. Plenty of connectors. Single rail is great; multiple rails are a bunch of baloney. 5-Year warrnty by Corsair and you get your rebate. You can't get any better......
Cons: none
Awesome for the money
Pros: Who can talk about GLARE when the screen has BUILT IN Anti-Glare. (some people don't get it). Works without a ton of adjustment for VERY NICE color. People talking about HDMI are clueless what this monitor is. DisplayPort is FAR superior (go read up on it). GREAT menu system to boot.
Cons: Really no cons for the price.
Overall Review: Don't listen to "GLARE" review, it obviously belongs to something else.
Nice But Not for Marvell 88SE9172
Pros: Works fine with my onboard Jmicron chipsets BUT NOT Marvell 88SE9172 (causes bsod).
Cons: Seems to be some issue between chipsets, when the drive is left alone and idle, after about 20 minutes causes my Windows 7 Pro to blue-screen.
Like a Clock
Pros: Call it 10600 or 10666; regardless it simply does the job. Those who have issues with memory in their motherboards need to consider carefully checking the motherboard specs and "clocking down" (speed kills).
Cons: none
Overall Review: Mushkin tech support is ready, willing and able if you need them.
You can't beat it
Pros: I use these for Raid 1 - and they work perfectly - I have purchased more than 14 of them over the last 3 years. Excellent Tech support and warranty. I have only had 1 with (minor) issues out of all of them.
Cons: They SHOULD NOT be used for Raid 5. Later drives (mf'd starting approx. early 2010) DO NOT have "time limited error recovery" (tler) (t.l.e.r.) firmware control, which is very necessary for stable Raid 5. (FYI - this is CONFIRMED with Western Digital Tech Support.)
Overall Review: If you want Raid 5 in SATA, you need to go with Western Digital Enterprise Hard Drives. Read their website FAQ's
