Awesome card

HIS Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support IceQ4 TurboX Video Card H485QX512P
HIS Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support IceQ4 TurboX Video Card H485QX512P

Pros: After running several, several benchmarks - Maximum temperature did not go over 67C at Max Load. Idle temperature stays ~48C which is OK! Noise level is very, very quite - but if you open the case you might slightly hear something; but at Max load Fan do spin-up - but barely noticeable. Memory is 0.8ns which results 1100MHz = 2200MHz GDDR3 Excellent cooling solution!!

Cons: I have Asus P35 Motherboard (P5K-Deluxe) and primary serial-ATA cable interfere at the tip when you install HD4850, so I had to switch cable around that face down which blocks second serial ATA connection next to it on the motherboard. "Oh well" Kinda expensive for ~$235 US. dollars....

Overall Review: I have Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 overclock to 333x9 = 3000MHz, Crucial memory DDR2-800MHz 4-4-4-12 @ 2T (1GBx4 = Total 4GB RAM), WindowsXP-Pro 32bit. I slightly overclock HD4850 to 700MHz GPU frequency from 685MHz, but the memory remain the same @2200MHz GDDR3. I run 3DMark06 default test - and score 13,840 points. SM2.0 score: 5206 HDR/SM3.0: 6226 CPU score: 4697

CORSAIR HX Series HX750 750 W ATX12V 2.3 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply New 4th Gen CPU Certified Haswell Ready

Pros: Drop my CPU temp by 4 Celsius at idle and 2 Celsius at full load. This power supply is ultra quite. I bought this power supply for upcoming ATI/AMD Cayman GPU Radeon 6900 series. 80+ silver or Gold edition power supply I recommended for best experience's running high-end video cards.

Cons: The attachable cables to video cards, hard drives, DVD drives is too long for my Antec 900 case. (I had to hide them inside the case because of the length) This power supply is Made in China

Overall Review: 7 years warranty is very impressive! High quality capacitors (Made in Japan) inside this Power Supply!

Very Good Memory Fan

G.SKILL FTB-3500C6-S Fans
G.SKILL FTB-3500C6-S Fans

Pros: Very easy to install (took less then 10 seconds) Plug right into motherboard 3 pin connector, was able to control fan speed through BIOS. (Low fan noise) Set in BIOS 60% percent for optimal performance. Run PRIME95 for two hours and memory was very, very cool. Running without this cooler - using PRIME95, memory was a bit HOT. (I notice huge temp drop with this cooler) Memory that I have: DDR2-1066MHz 5-5-5-15 at 2.1 volts Running on my system 4x2GB = 8GB total memory RAM. Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PVS24G8500ELKR2

Cons: It is a bit bulky - meaning if you have large custom CPU fan-cooler it might interfere; for me their was no problem since I use basic water-cooling solution Corsair H50 solution. It is really not con, it also depends on the what type of motherboard you have, meaning how close memory is to CPU.

Overall Review: It looks very nice in your case with blue-led light :)

Best CPU for Socket 775

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 - Core 2 Quad Yorkfield Quad-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 95W Desktop Processor - BX80569Q9650
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 - Core 2 Quad Yorkfield Quad-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 95W Desktop Processor - BX80569Q9650

Pros: Best CPU for Socket 775. I was able to overclock @ 3.6GHz w/ Stock voltage. All I had to do is to change FSB from 333x9 to 400x9. That is it!! :) :) But to be on the safe side I'm using Zalman CNPS9700 LED CPU Cooler. When I go to BIOS (CMOS) It runs default @ 47C degrees. But when I boot to Windows! (Central Processing Unit) temperature drops: Core0 35C Core1 25C Core2 27C Core3 28C Because under in windows mode CPU AUTO downclocks to 2.4GHz under idle (Standby) When you run a test such as CINEBENCHR10, then CPU runs full speed - running @ 3.6GHz and temp goes up in (Celsius). Core0 61C Core1 48C Core2 48C Core3 47C Running @ 3.6GHz and testing CINEBENCHR10 64bit mode - my score was ~16,040 points, but under 32bit mode then score is ~14,140 points. Intel Q9650 @ 3.6GHz is little faster then stock Intel Core i7 920 CPU @ 2.66GHz running CINEBENCHR10. I 'am comparing 4 threads vs. 8 threads in CINEBENCHR10 results.

Cons: -None-

Overall Review: My Motherboard is: ASUS P5K-Deluxe (P35) My memory is: (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PVS24G8500ELKR2.

Still waiting for this card

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100281VXSR
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card 100281VXSR

Pros: Best of the best single GPU video card for 2009/10. With a great come back from ATI. The history finally repeated it's self again - since the days of R300 when ATI ruled GPU market - back in year 2002/03. ATI finally has fastest single GPU on the market; and Nvidia simply cannot do nothing about it.

Cons: This custom edition is out of stock :( :( So I have to take one egg away for overall score; because I cannot buy it from newegg at this moment.

Overall Review: My computer right now is: ASUS P5K-D Motherboard (Intel P35) Intel quad Q9650 @ 3.6GHz (400x9FSB) ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler Patriot Viper 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 1066 (PVS24G8500ELKR2) ATI Iceq4 Radeon 4850 700core/1100mem Antec 900 case. 2X Liteon 16X DVDRW SATA drive Western Digital velociraptor 300gb SATA2 Western digital caviar 750gb SATA2 1.44mb floppy drive (just in case I may still need) Antec high-end 550 watt power supply. This computer is not for gaming, but I may play sometimes if I get a free moment.

Very good Memory

Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PVS24G8500ELKR2
Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PVS24G8500ELKR2

Pros: Installed this (PVS24G8500ELKR2) 4x2GB Total 8GB memory @ 1066MHz 5-5-5-15. Runs cool and fast, best memory I ever had. Runs great with my Intel Q9650 @ 3.6GHz (400x9 FSB) 3:4 ration with this memory. Score 8.3 - 8.4GB's memory bandwidth with Sisoft Sandra 2010. Comparing to my DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 the score was 7.6GB's memory bandwidth in Sisoft Sandra 2010. Currently overkill for any games and most of the applications when you have 8GB-RAM in your computer running 64bit OS.

Cons: Installed all 4 of them, total 8GB and my system crush in windows, many, many times. I got upset.... I thought memory is defective. So I removed all 4 sticks from my motherboard. Re-installed only 2 (2x2GB). Booted back to windows and my system run fine. Run prime95 - no issues. Then Installed 2 more same memory sticks for total 8GB memory again and my system run fine. Also re-run prime95 for about 4 hours and system was fine. And I run as well for about 7.5 hours memtest86+ ver.4.00 and no issues. And - my Asus P5k-Deluxe (P35) motherboard detected this memory as DDR2-800 5-5-5-12, so I had to manually set to DDR2-1066 5-5-5-15 timing. Between DDR2-800 4-4-4-12 and DDR2-1066 5-5-5-15 very small improvement I see. Not worth $$ (the money) for going to DDR2-1066. But I simply wanted to have 8GB memory in my computer :) :) So I got this memory!! Because of this issues I had, I took one egg away for overall rating.
