Surprising value at this price point!
Pros: - Constructed of quality materials - Long run time - Good dust bin capacity - Dual filters - Navigates low pile area rugs with ease - Its low-profile height is perfect for getting under my sofa and entertainment center.
Cons: - HEPA filter issues (see comments below) - Sometimes has trouble finding its way back to the charging station - Leaves some debris on hardwood floors at the edge of area rugs - Tends to get lost under beds, and shuts down when it can't find its way out
Overall Review: This vacuum surprised me. For its price ($129 at the time of purchase), it is an incredible deal. Build is solid and suction is impressive. It really makes a difference in my home. Even though it isn't really intended for carpet, it has significantly reduced the amount of dirt and pet hair that my upright vacuum sucks out of our area rugs (we have 2 short-hair dogs and a long-hair cat). It keeps hardwood floors nice and tidy, except at the very edge of our area rugs, but that's not a really big concern. Of all the cons I listed, my biggest complaint is with the paper filter on the back of the dust bin. It falls out every time the bin is removed, and it can be a real pain to get it to stay in place long enough to reload the bin back into the vacuum. I think it's because the rubber surround is too soft and pliable. A stiffer rubber might fix the problem, or perhaps the company should opt for a snap-in plastic surround on the next version. Still, at this price point, I can't bring myself to rate the machine at less than 5 eggs.
Good drive but NOISY
Pros: - Recognized and configured instantly in my Synology DS216j Diskstation NAS. - Fast for a mechanical drive
Cons: - NOISE, NOISE, and more NOISE
Overall Review: I really thought something was wrong with these drives. I bought 2 for my new NAS and they're super noisy whenever they're being actively used. I ran SMART tests on them and nothing errored out or showed reason for concern. I haven't had any other issues with them.
Smells like a cheap margarita
Pros: Seems to work fine, but how would you know? Does have a strong alcohol smell, so one would guess it does. A little goes a long way. I have big hands and one pump sufficiently covers them. It also doesn't evaporate too fast. Reasonable price, given the state of things.
Cons: The smell is really strong, but it fades quickly. The odor reminds me of cheap tequila.
Overall Review: I would buy this again if for no better reason than supply is limited or non-existent in my area since the pandemic began. Another note about the odor is that it smells just like the hand sanitizer that my local pharmacy has been putting out for customers to use while at the checkout. It could be from the same manufacturer.
Fantastic RGB
Pros: Overclockable Great looking and very bright RGB LEDs! Compatible with MSI Mystic Light
Cons: None!
Overall Review: I bought 2 sets of these for my gaming rig to replace a defective set of Trident Z's that I had to RMA to G.SKILL. I picked these up on sale for just $109 a set, which is much more economical than Trident Z. And they look better too! I just wish I'd have seen them first back when I built my rig. I've read some reviews that stated these modules seem dim as compared to other brands. If that was ever the case, Team fixed the issue before manufacturing my set. I even had to tone down the brightness so they wouldn't overpower the rest of the RGB components in my system. I'm very pleased with my purchase!
Great Processor!
Pros: - Easy to overclock - Low power consumption - Better price-to-performance ratio than comparable Intel processors
Cons: - RGB on included cooler doesn't display true colors unless you have it set to red, green, or blue.
Overall Review: I've really been enjoying this processor. It is super easy to overclock and the stock cooler is more than sufficient to cool it. The only issue I have is with the RGB ring on the cooler itself. Colors other than red, green, and blue clash with the colors of other RGB products. Purple looks pink, orange appears school bus yellow, etc. And unlike the white AMD logo, the ring has to be connected to an RGB header to be lit up at all. It would be nice if the ring would default to AMD Red if not connected to such a header. I'm still giving this processor 5 eggs though.
Nice fans at an affordable price!
Pros: - Affordable RGB goodness with bright LEDs - Moves a lot of air! - Anti-vibration rubber corners - Comes with everything you need - Control either with software or the included controller
Cons: - Can't daisy chain cables from one fan to the next. Would be a great improvement for the next version. - Oranges could stand to be a deeper orange. - The box could stand to be a little larger because it is hard to remove the fans without tearing it.
Overall Review: I really like these fans. They are bright, move lots of air, and are really affordable. I was able to pick up 2 sets for less than $100. They come with everything you need to set them up. They integrate with motherboards with RGB headers, but also include a wired controller in case you don't have such a motherboard. The included fan hub supports an extra case fan, in case you have one. I have 3 for intake and 3 for exhaust in a Cougar Panzer case, and was able to move the stock Cougar fan to the bottom of the case for additional intake and plug it directly into the DeepCool hub. Really convenient! The LEDs also do a good job shining through the dark tempered glass side panel of my case.
