As Advertised
Pros: Gave me a big space boost at a great price. I bought 2 and they arrived well bubble-wrapped, up and running in no time (they were bare drives with no cords or connections, FYI)
Cons: None so far (just 2 weeks of use)
Overall Review: As other reviews suggested this seems to be a great deal for minimally used drives. I'm happy!
My Go-To Camera
Pros: Survives drops Goes underwater Shoots 4k
Cons: Would be nice if it were cheaper?
Overall Review: I've dropped this camera many times, accidentally of course, and it just keeps working. I require rugged cameras because I take them hiking, exercising, and just about everywhere. This camera has yet to let me down so the positive reviews I read guided me well. Picture and video quality are strong and it's durable too!
Card Errors Are GONE!
Overall Review: I wish I had bought this sooner! My old card gave me card errors periodically but I wasn't sure if it really was the card or the camera as the card seemed to read better when placed inside my laptop. Oddly enough it also performed better after the (rugged) TG-5 camera came out of the fridge. I got tired of performing an exercise that was really challenging only to get to the camera and see "card error" so my personal record number of reps would have to be done - again. UGH. Finally I bought a new card simply because it was a lot cheaper than buying a new camera. With a solid week of shooting I've had zero card errors so it must have been the old card after all. Yay!
Solid and Usually Fast
Pros: I like the design. It has a light indicating copying is happening. It has plenty of space. UPDATE: Sometimes it's fast!
Cons: Expensive (relative to competition). Claims speeds that aren't always met - especially with large files (as other reviews have already stated) but be careful that you're plugging into a newer USB port.
Overall Review: UPDATE: my original review was 3 stars but I've seen faster performance in many cases so I'm upping to 4 stars. I took a gamble this would be worth the extra money because it should transfer files faster than other drives and while I am not completely disappointed I have seen mixed performance. Some transfers (80 gigs) were super jagged, going fast, dropping off, picking up again, the graph of the transfer resembles a comb with many peaks and valleys. Those were peaking around 40MB/s. More recently I've transferred smaller (1 to 2 gig) files - from the same source - at a constant 300MB/s. That's great. My last thumb drive was only 8GB capacity, so to jump to 128GB was fantastic. Bottom line: no regrets but I'm not sure why some transfers are significantly slower.
Works for SB1
Pros: This adapter does have a light on the side (to indicate charging is happening) and charges my Surface Book (version 1) well. $20 is quite a sale compared to the $99 Microsoft equivalent.
Cons: This adapter does seem to get a bit hotter than the original but that doesn't seem to be a problem so far.
Overall Review: Affordable and working, so I'm pleased this will keep my surface book 1 alive long enough for the next Surface release expected in October 2019..
Works and Affordable
Pros: Now I can charge my existing battery and have backups. One battery is never enough for trips like a Grand Canyon hike!
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I've only had it for a couple weeks so I cannot speak to the quality of the 2 batteries versus the OEM battery, however with 3 to swap around I'm now set.
Perfecto
Got my camera charger (with replacement batteries) quickly and cheaply - plus it works great. FastMedia (the seller) says they are small and would like a positive review - I'm glad to supply one. Thanks!
Great Deal
Don't know how they came across these "refurb" hard drives (with only a day of usage) but they were a GREAT deal! Bubble wrapped, and shipped on time. 2 drives as advertised are now working great.
