Be sure it's what you want

Pros: There is obviously a lot of engineering going on here. The huge potential for hard drive mounting is astounding. Cooling has been given a high priority as well. Assembly went fairly well, as long as you follow proper order of operations. No sharp edges, and all the parts fit well.
Cons: This thing is big! Two full inches deeper than all other HT components, verify your installation space will allow proper airflow. Also, the lovely front fascia with the trick ext-drive doors don't allow for flush mounted installations such as fan controllers, or I/O panels without serious metal work.
Overall Review: Excels at doing the fundamentals; If you have special needs or interesting plans, you may need to consider other options.
Functional but basic

Pros: Once setup, it works quickly. Setup software works pretty well, but there are some issues.
Cons: Device does not auto-detect print jobs sent over the network. The different network users need to create a connection with the server before they send the print job, an additional step that should be unnecessary. It should be able to switch from user to user automatically, and it doesn't. Also, If you have you network setup to manually assign IP addresses, you will need to reset to DHCP server to assign an address to the PrintServer before it will be found on your network. It doesn't have a default address assigned from the factory. All can be reset once contact is established, but the install software cannot toubleshoot this issue. The install software for resetting the printer drivers is also very slow to perform this seemingly simple function... and it also will freeze if the printserver is connected to a different user. Again, the install software doesn't have an internal trouble shooter to work around this common situation.
Overall Review: I would probably try another brand or model if I had to recommend a print server to a friend. The thing works as promised, but the operation and install issues make this unit seem very out of date.
