Pros: Extremely compact design with great sound. I use them for streaming pandora and netflix. They are somewhat heavier then expected and display elegance and quality. The nice sliver tone fits any decor. There is no power led so there is no need to turn them off unless something in the room is making them hum. Anyone can complain about anything but I enjoy the BOSE Companion 2 Series II speaker system.

Cons: The Bose speaker system featured here can no longer be found at Bose or other fine retailers simply because they are not current. The current model is Companion 2 Series II and has a power off feature and sleeker look. The speaker audio cables are a bit short. (4ft) The use of standard left / right audio plugs makes finding a longer cable at Radio Shack an easy task. Bose should consider extending the length of their audio cables.

Overall Review: There seems to be some confusion here... NOTE: the speakers advertised here are Series I.... not II. Bose and other fine retailers no longer carry this model. However you are buying them at a savings.
