Smooth mouse w/ added weight

Logitech G9x Black Two modes scroll USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Logitech G9x Black Two modes scroll USB Wired Laser Gaming Mouse

Pros: Long cable allows PC to sit on floor Extra weight to fine tune movements Two different shells Multi-color LEDs Multiple DPI ranges to choose from Extra buttons programmable to specific functions

Cons: Not a con per se but if you have a small hand this mouse likely will not fit in it.

Overall Review: I was looking for a mouse that was corded for gaming and precise control. It seems the choices are limited in the higher end. This Logitech fit the bill exactly. The adjustable resolution and extra buttons are added bonuses. I would recommend this mouse to anyone tired of wireless mice.

Not for the overclocker

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ - Athlon 64 Winchester Single-Core 2.2 GHz Socket 939 Processor - ADA3500DIK4BI
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ - Athlon 64 Winchester Single-Core 2.2 GHz Socket 939 Processor - ADA3500DIK4BI

Comments: This is a very good processor if you want to keep it stock at 2.2 but don't expect much of an overclock if you are not going to go extreme cooling. There are better chips to use than this one if you are an enthusiast. I was finally able to get 2.62 after alot of fighting and it's Prime95 24hr stable, but HL2 usually crashes after a couple of hours of play. Overclockers should look at the 3000+/3200+ Winchester or the new 3500+ Clawhammer!

One of the better AM4 boards around

GIGABYTE AORUS GA-AX370-Gaming K7 (rev. 1.0) AM4 AMD X370 USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
GIGABYTE AORUS GA-AX370-Gaming K7 (rev. 1.0) AM4 AMD X370 USB 3.1 HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Some of the advantages of this board include: Dual Audio Dual NIC RGBW header Ability to use external temperature sensors (included) Dual BIOS Turbo BClk Generator This board has a lot of potential as the AM4 platform matures and BIOS updates continue to alleviate RAM compatibility issues. It would be a good base to start for any Ryzen gaming system and even last though a CPU upgrade for future Zen2 based CPUs or APUs.

Cons: BIOS setting lag behind a bit behind Asus with their CH6, the addition of pstate adjustments would help here. Changing some of the memory to 2T command rate would also increase compatibility with many 3000+ Mhz DIMMs. Shoudl have made all three RGB pin headers RGBW. If you are going to pust such a large shroud around the I/O panel and cover some of the VRM heatsink then put a fan in there to draw air through it. These are the reasons for only 4 stars instead of 5.

Overall Review: Anyone who gives this board a one star review had no business buying it in the first place, or for that matter any Ryzen system at launch. Ryzen does have it's issues with compatibility, but these are all being worked on. This is no different that Intel when they introduced the X99 platform. The X370 platform is not as feature rich as the more mature Z170/Z270 boards but those have a much bigger head start. It is a restart for AMD in the HEDT market and there will likely be more improvements to come. I certainly would recommend this board or the cheaper Gaming K5 or even the Gaming K3 (when available) if you are looking to run Ryzen at peak performance. Also YouTuber Buildziod (Extreme OCer) in the U.K. has been waiting for this board to become available. He is about to give up waiting on the K7 and will likely end up with an Asus board, Gigabyte please send him a board!

Better than expected

HP Laptop Pavilion Intel Core i7-3610QM 8GB Memory 750GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 17.3" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit dv7-7012nr

Pros: Been using this laptop for just over a year and it still packs a lot of punch. I would recommend this or a similar one to anyone looking to replace a desktop. To add to it's useful life we did do a few upgrades: Swapping out the 802.11n card for an Intel 802.11ac+Bluetooth 4 card gave us a lot more network throughput; Adding more RAM allowed for better performance without using HDD swap space; finally, a SATA SSD drive set up as the boot device made Windows load almost instant. I would highly recommend all of these upgrades.

Cons: If you need to be truly portable, look at a tablet instead.

Will always look at Seasonic 1st

SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply
SeaSonic M12II 620 Bronze 620W ATX12V V2.3 / EPS 12V V2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Full Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Replaced a PS in an HP Desktop, with multiple drives and multiple optical drives using a video card that required 130W was too much for the little power supply. This one fit the bill. Look at all the review sites and you will see Seasonic consistently rated high. There is little reason to spend more. It also runs very cool so the fan does not need to push a lot of air, making the whole PS very quiet.

Cons: None so far.

Used in HTPC

ASUS P8B75-V LGA 1155 Intel B75 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P8B75-V LGA 1155 Intel B75 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Was easy to set up like all Asus boards. Using Windows 7 Ultimate and running an Areca 9TB RAID6. Everything runs smooth, will be using this to play some non-cutting edge gaming. Equipped with 12GB of RAM and a GTX 260 will have plenty of power to run at 1920x1080.

Cons: None so far
