This review is from: Rosewill RX850-S-B - Xtreme Series 850-Watt Active PFC Power Supply - Continuous @ 104 Deg. F (40C), 80 PLUS Bronze, ATX 12V v2.2 & EPS 12V v2.91, SLI & CrossFire-Ready, Compatible with Core i7, i5
Pros: Great Power Output for price
Haven't ever been concerned with Power Supply Fan sound
Mesh cabling helps with management.
Cons: The price comes at the cost on not having a modular wire management. The excess wires take up three slots in my Antec 900 case that would normally fit HDD.
I've been using this product for over a year and a half and other than a few personal cabling issues, it's been fine.
But in the past few days, my computer has been experiencing anomaly shutdowns. I've had it happen while gaming, while it has been idol at the desktop, and while it was set to sleep. (Note: I have my PC and peripherals plugged into a UPS that hasn't given me issues with any other devices it hosts).
Luckily, I purchased a 2-year warranty with this product. If the hard resets continue after I bypass the UPS, I will have to RMA, which is kinda a pain considering I'm involved in some Programming classes.
Time will tell.
Other Thoughts: Overall, it has been good for me up until now, a 1.5 year mark. Hopefully the shutdowns I discussed in my "Cons" were just anomalies and I won't have to be out a computer for some weeks.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Had it for about two weeks now. Used it for two partitions to organized backed-up files. Works without issue.
Cons: None. Will update in a year if any occur.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This fan is VERY efficient and keeping a PC cool and can be turned around to act as air intake or exhaust.
The blue LEDs are very bright in terms of aesthetics.
Cons: The noise is very noticeable when I'm not listening to music, watching a movie, ect...
Just know that it is not silent.
Other Thoughts: Do not try to move the fan around while it is running!
I noticed my GPU temp was rising when the fan was being used as an intake, so I decided to swap it mid game. I am now writing this with two large cuts on my fingertips.
In terms of cooling, it has made a great exhaust for heat. I would recommend if you were unconcerned by noise.
