Terrible product, worse company
Pros: None
Cons: High rate of defect, low quality.
Overall Review: I bought two of these bulbs two months ago to see if it was worth investing in them. It is not. One bulb has already failed, and the other arrived defective. Worse yet, the warranty promised when you purchase them? Impossible to obtain. I've tried to contact the company on Newegg (through the communication system), on their website, and through email, and have gotten no response. These bulbs are bad: they won't last a year, let alone the 22 years promised, and the warranty is a facade. Buy another product.
Terrible Product
Pros: None.
Cons: Acer as a manufacturer, Poorly put together system that lacks basic features.
Overall Review: After about a month of ownership the Windows Key that came installed with the system became invalidated, and Microsoft said that Acer was the party responsible for the invalidation. Acer tried to sell me system restore tools to fix the problem, even though they created the problem (and never explained why they invalidated the key after a month of use.) After fixing the key issue by using system restore, I found multiple pieces of hardware were not working. Turns out the system restore wipes out the drivers, and they don't have a back up on the Bios. Acer (of course) offered to reinstall the drivers for me if I sent the system in and paid an outrageous fee. I just used Driver Genius to reinstall, but it just goes to show how shady and unethical Acer really is. Don't buy any system from them, you'll regret it.
Arrived DOA
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Poor quality.
Overall Review: It arrived with a broken PSU, which seems like something that should have been checked before shipping the unit. I think it speaks volumes about the company that assembled this unit.
You get what you pay for.
Pros: Cheap, bright
Cons: Loud buzzing that never ceases
Overall Review: Let this be a lesson to us all: buying cheap bulbs is not the answer. I purchased two of these to replace some recessed lighting in a high ceiling room, but in spite of their distance from human ears they produce a loud buzzing sound that does not go away once they have warmed up. Perhaps if you use these bulbs in a wood shop where a table saw is constantly going, you may not mind. But so far, it has driven me and my family mad, and we are going to replace them right now.
Garbage
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Stops functioning with alarming speed.
Overall Review: This drive is just awful. It stopped functioning on any device after a few months, and leading up to that it would only work intermittently. Not sure if the connectors are bad, but every time you input the drive you get a "drive has malfunctioned" error that does not allow it to operate as usual.
The scam of the year!
Pros: Nvidia Product, solid tech
Cons: MSI as the manufacturer.
Overall Review: I purchased two of these cards in order to use the SLI function, but wish I would have gone with another manufacturer, because I have come to find out just how shady MSI is. For all intents and purposes, I have mastered the art of the mail in rebate, as I have been doing it for years on Newegg, but in dealing with MSI I came up against an obstacle no one can get past: fraud. I was declined my rebate for the card (I was only allowed to submit one rebate) due to a "missing invoice", but this was just a cover for some unscrupulous employee. To my shock, when I went into the claim page, I found the scanned copy of my invoice, but someone had taken a marker and blacked out the product in order to deny my claim. Customer service? Keep dreaming- they informed me of my denied claim AFTER the time frame for submission, ensuring I would be denied! Needless to say, I wont ever purchase another product from MSI, as they are the slimiest company around.
