Awesome card!

ASUS Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity EAH6950/2DI2S/2GD5
ASUS Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 CrossFireX Support Video Card with Eyefinity EAH6950/2DI2S/2GD5

Pros: - Aluminum Casing (instead of the standard plastic reference design casing) - QUIET, QUIET, QUIET! I owned a Sapphire 5870 prior to this card and the noise difference is BIG. 35% fan speed on this card is equivalent to 25% fan speed on the 5870 (or thereabouts). - Upgrading from the 5870 to the 6950 actually netted me a bigger difference than I was expecting. The card made a noticeable difference in RIFT. I jumped from holding at 10-15 frames with graphics maxed at 1920x1200 to 30+ steady. This is running the card at stock, I haven't flashed the BIOS up to the 6970 yet and I haven't even tweaked with clock settings. - Now, I have NOT done the BIOS flash to the 6970 (as previously noted) but I am putting that as a PRO in this review because I have seen it in action on an acquaintance's machine and it works wonderfully.

Cons: Have not encountered anything that is a con yet :).

Overall Review: Thank you ASUS for another solid product, and thank you Newegg for awesome turnaround times on the order.

Solid product w/ not-so-solid switches.

Logitech G9x Black Two modes scroll USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse
Logitech G9x Black Two modes scroll USB Wired Laser 5700 dpi Gaming Mouse

Pros: This is a solid feeling mouse that features interchangeable frames to best suit how you like your mouse to feel. I purchased this mouse about 9 months ago and have been very pleased with it up until recently.

Cons: I will preface this with the disclaimer that I am a gamer and that is really the only reason this affects me. But this is meant to be a gaming mouse by design so this shouldn't be surprising. About 7 months into my ownership of this mouse I started noticing that my left clicks were often becoming double clicks even if I didn't click a second time. Shortly thereafter my right clicks started to occasionally stick, causing no end of issues in FPS/MMO style gaming. I am not the only reviewer who has encountered this so I am convinced it is likely just the switches for those two buttons.

Overall Review: The issues I had really disappointed me as I was in love with my G500 that developed a short in the cabling and instead of replacing it (since I believe it was out of warranty anyway) I looked at upgrading to a nicer mouse from Logitech. I am going to call their warranty service and hope I can get it replaced as I really do it enjoy it. If not for the issues this would have been a solid 5 for me.
