This review is from: Changhong 42" Class 4K Ultra HD LED TV - UD42YC5500UA
Pros: You can not beat the price.
Picture is good enough to enjoy daily use.
VESA wall mountable.
Blurays look rather nice with upscaling.
For watching video content this is a bargain.
DirecTV and comcast are offering 3840x2160 content soon.
Cons: No smart tv integration so no Netflix or "Shipping Co" Prime 4k content. The easiest content to find at 4k was dirty movies and YouTube. Roku can not get you 4k streaming yet.
The "240hz" mode really hates lower frame rates like 24hz bluray KEEP IT ON LOW.
You can not play any games on this the lag is so great I can count on my hand before the screen reacts even at 720 p on game mode. Tried consoles at 1080, pc at lots of resolution the latency is just to much.
The speaker system is set to insane levels out of the box 12 is loud enough for me to hear 8 feet away on a couch default for me was 32 the speakers crackled at that volume. IT GOES TO 100!
Severe lack of options in the menus for color correction and such.
Other Thoughts: Worth the money for video content although lack of 4K content at this time could make you wait for a better model.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Low power loss, single rail, modular. Its over volt protection stopped a XFX 7970 ghz graphics card from bursting into flames and damaging my system not once, but twice. Runs Intel 3770k overclocked to 4.5, two GTX 680's overclocked and multiple ssd's with no problem. Quiet, as in zero detectable noise that me or my wife can discern.
Cons: Cables are cheap I had to re-seat pins on occasion. They were falling out of the housing. Not using all cables so I had to route them to no where to improve air flow for one of my intake fans.
Other Thoughts: I have a bottom mounted PSU on my case so I can not see the pretty red fan. Zero exhaust problems.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: When its running its works great.
Cons: Bought this it died in two days time. TMZ. Received new card died after 45 min of playing Crysis 3. Getting refund but because of promo deal only receiving 260 of original 469 I paid. There is a common problem with this card ramping up its load suddenly then frying itself. It drew about 568 watts then the fans stopped and it broke. I am upset guess ill try Asus if I can find one.
Other Thoughts: I never received my codes for the promo just emails saying they sent it, this means I paid 180 dollars for two games I most likely will never receive. I paid for Crysis 3 out of pocket because I wanted to play it. So beware of that.READ FULL REVIEW
