Pros: Incredibly fast boot due to SSD
Load times for games are great due to SSD.
Graphics are very good if you aren't playing games exclusively designed to benchmark your system.
Windows 8.1 is actually very pleasant to use.
Sound is very good for a laptop.
Typing is good, solid keyboard.
Best laptop screen I've ever encountered.
Cons: Did not make me breakfast even once.
Sometimes when typing, the extremely sensitive touchpad registers the palm of my hand as the click of a mouse. Not really a big deal.
Other Thoughts: Prior to purchasing this laptop I had an Acer Aspire for 4 years. That old Acer was so good for those years that I will continue to buy Acers until they give me a reason not to. The V17 Nitro black edition thus far seems like it won't let down my expectations for a gaming/school workhorse for the next 4 years. I would buy this laptop all over again in a heartbeat.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I have had this laptop for 4 years and one month, I am writing the review from the keyboard of this 4 year old laptop. Everything still works. It was dropped about five feet once, right onto its corner. Corner is chipped, everything still functions. I got sand in the keyboard, a few keys stopped working for a little while, then the laptop fixed itself.
Cons: Startup takes a while now, boots slightly slow. Can't run modern games on high, only medium.

Pros: Pretty screen, fast processor, good specs and price
Cons: Does not perform the one task I really want it to perform. So it is essentially useless to me. Will not access Netflix no matter what. No support for this app exists. My error code 150001 is an inescapable constant error. I really wish I didn't buy this. If this functioned as it should it would be five eggs. Where is the customer support for important apps?
Other Thoughts: This is a $200 machine that lets me watch youtube from various places in the house.READ FULL REVIEW
