Pros: I now have these running great! It took some fiddling with my motherboard setting to get XMP to work stably, but they are running great. I think my son had possibly changed some settings and that may have been the cause of my earlier issues.

Cons: None at all.

Overall Review: Too bad I can't simply update my original review. I'd prefer to bump that from 3 to 5 stars. I got them on sale, if they go on sale again I'll be getting another 16GB for a 32GB total. Even with 16GB I can pause a game and let my son launch another one and play for a while, return to my game and all is good. Everything goes silky smooth, from the launching of the second game, to playing it, to returning to the first game. I'm hoping with 32GB I'll be able to do even more, maybe game while I have some work stuff running for those days I need to work off hours.

Pros: Can't say, it was DOA. Well, the price WAS great, if it worked.

Cons: Showed up DOA. Would not get past the SMART test when my system POSTed.

Overall Review: The drive was indeed dead on arrival. The packing was pretty bad. The drive was wrapped in some bubble wrap, and there was a small bit of crumpled up paper next to it. But the drive was placed in such a way a to make dure it had the least bit of protection, basically a siblge sheet of bubble wrap betwen it and the side of the box. I am very, very disappointed in Newegg on this one. My experience at a certain large online retailer whose name starts with an A has been much, much better packing-wise.

Pros: Runs all games extremely smooth on high on my 1200P monitor. Runs very well for the price. Would need to spend a lot more (at least as of this writing) on an AMD card to get more performance.

Cons: Was hoping for more, but that may be my fault.

Overall Review: I can't get some games to run smooth on ultra settings. This is the only non-high end part in my system because I thought it could carry the weight of running on ultra at 1200P. I was wrong. Some games work on ultra, but not as many as I hoped would, including Titanfall. But it does run great on high settings. I probably had my expectations too high. I thought with a Maximus VI board, 16GB of high end G.Skill memory, an I7 4770, and an Intel SSD I would be able to go ultra on most if not all games, but it's not quite there. Can't blame the card for that, it's my fault. Maybe with some more tweaking I'll get there.

Pros: Does what it claims to do and does it well.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I've used several AV-GP drives for my 24/7 Windows Media Center PC's and I've never been disappointed in them. Other non-AV-GP drives have died on my and lost data, but these drives are made for this kind of work and they do it well. In the past I've gotten new drives, but even my refurbished has been great.

Pros: Small, easy to setup, doesn't need expternal power with USB 3.

Cons: My system will not go to sleep when using this drive. If I unplug the drive it will sleep.

Overall Review: Will probably replace this drive with a kit that comes with a power cord. I think then my system will sleep.
