Awesome
Pros: Works, looks really good. WORKS! Dropped my idle by 6 degrees, my loads by 10 degrees, as others have mentioned you must install correctly with the airflow arrow pointing to the exhaust fans (back) of your PC. I have an AM3+ board and the AM2 bracket that comes with this fit perfect on my board.
Cons: Not really a con, IT'S HUUUUGE! SO, if you don't have low profile memory, or memory with out heat sink, or a low heat sink, this will surely block dimm1. I have gskill ares series so it just fit with about 1 cm of clearance.
Overall Review: My new machine is killing my old one went from p4 2.8, on an abit board with 3 gb ram to amd fx8120 32 gb ram ssd drives 2gb 128 bit Asus vid and i can even run my old machine that I converted to a vmware machine. I love the future
Awesome
Pros: These are small and require no extra power for my 5400 rpm drives. Worked out of the box. I bought 4 of them. I keep a base at each computer and put my spare drives I had laying around in them. Great price.
Cons: Th drives will knock about a bit.... I put a piece of sticky foam (from a laptop pull i did) in them. Holds the HDD in place nice and tight. No cup Holders.
Overall Review: I would like to see a Mini Raid Storage Box built out of these. Like 5 of them stacked with a built in raid controller would make a nice mini 5tb raid box. OKGear... are you listening? I am available for product design.
I love these lil things
Pros: these are the ish (take a wiff) for laptops and other low profile uses, throw a 16gb micro in and turn it into a readyboost drive, I also threw some music onto another one and put it in my car stereo front usb
Cons: not free
Overall Review: buy many... I own 4 and I am planning on buying more
