Pros: Easy to install. Good image quality at a decent price. The 720 line cameras are better than the "TV" quality, but not nearly as expensive as the 1080p cameras.
Night vision is quite impressive.
This is my first go with a surveillance system and aside from climbing up and down a ladder way too much, it was pretty easy to get set up and working the way I wanted it to.
Cons: Updated July 11, 2016: E-mail notifications DO NOT work. Zmodo refuses to fix software issue that has been known since at least October 2015. Zero interest from Zmodo to correct problem. Cannot recommend any longer. Get something different.
Haven't figured out how to get the HDMI output working yet. Still some troubleshooting to do there. The VGA output works fine for now, but the HDMI would let me remote the monitor from the NVR easier.
Other Thoughts: Updated July 11, 2016: Check out the Zmodo community forums. The e-mail problem is widespread and known to hundreds of users - Zmodo totally uninterested in fixing. If you want push e-mail notifications, look elsewhere.
I pulled my own Cat.5 runs and connectorized them myself. The cables that come in the box are fine, but might not survive a harsh "pull through". It's a standard pinout on the RJ-45, just like any other LAN cable.
Keep in mind though, the Zmodo cameras only use four wires, so you won't be reusing the camera cables for any other applications.
The mouse that comes with the NVR is junk, but hey at least Zmodo included one. I had a spare wireless USB mouse and it works fine. Eventually, the NVR will get mounted out of sight. The wireless mouse makes it possible to control easily while still keeping the NVR concealed.

Pros: Excellent image quality, multiple inputs. Needed an TV / computer monitor that would serve a dual purpose on a tight budget. This TV delivers. It has the DTV tuner, VGA, HDMI and even RGB composite inputs.
Other Thoughts: I used the VESA mounting to put the monitor on a wall bracket. I can't comment on how the desk stand works, but it looks like it would be very stable.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Excellent refurb job. PC was clean and in excellent cosmetic condition. What little promotional software there was on the new Win7 image was easily removed. Included a new keyboard and mouse. Granted, they're not top of the line, but you can be operational right out of the box, just connect a monitor.
Excellent choice for any application where a functional, and still very capable, PC is needed but investment in new machine is not justified.
AST did the refurb on this and I would absolutely buy from them again. There was not a spec of dust inside the case which tells me they spent some time going over this thing before reselling.
Other Thoughts: Our fire department needed a second machine for entering fire reports. This thing needs to run in the engine bay (dirty, dusty, not a happy place for computers). Even though this is an older machine, it will do what it needs to just fine and when the dirt/dust finally kills it, we'll go out and get another.READ FULL REVIEW
