MyDigitalSSD 256GB (240GB) 50mm Bullet Proof 4 BP4 50mm mSATA Solid State Drive SSD SATA III 6G (240GB)(256GB)
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: It works fantastic - run it 24 hours a day in my MSI GE70 Gaming laptop, power plan has it set to always have power on for drives, no sleep or hibernate, etc my laptop rarely ever gets restarted except when after MS Sec updates etc gaming as well as constant use 24/7 I am always either gaming, surfing the web and downloading or both or all 3 at same time. this BP is awesome, not a single hiccup with this mSata SSD. everytime I use ASSD or some other bench I get the specs as advertised.

Cons: Not a Single CON been running 24/7 since August 2014 and not a single hiccup transferring lots of GB of data each day on and off this drive as well as being used as my primary boot drive for my O/S win 7 x 64 pro (i got rid of that substandard win 8.1) than came with the MSI laptop I put this and did clean install of win7x64 thing is faster than some raid zero ssd arrays! 24/7 since august 2014 !!!.

Other Thoughts: This is the BEST SSD I have Ever had - and I have had lots of them -

CCTV Home Surveillance Security System Wireless 4 Channel Receiver 2 IR Color Infrared Night Vision CMOS Camera

Pros: It will provide a live CCTV to your TV set from both camera's
It would be an OK Option for bottom of the barrel "on the cheap" surveillance system.

Cons: I thought this was an WiFi IP Camera , It is not , it uses the 2.4 GHZ Band to TX and RX the signal to the RXer and Feed box that feeds the video signals to the TV Set. Since it uses RF and not TCP/IP it will not link to your Network. IN FACT IT WILL RENDER YOUR WiFI AP Useless. Why? Because the RF from the 2 Cams JAM ALL WiFi Signals within 100 Yards

Other Thoughts: This would also be great if you were willing to break FCC Regulations and take the federal rap for intentionally Jamming a neighbor you didnt like. this thing completely wipes out WiFi within 100 Yards. You could also cut the lead from the camera and put a directional 2.4ghz Yagi or backfire antenna and aim it right at the neighbor you hated: it would render his WiFi network useless..... as for it being a CCTV yes you can use it for that, but you will have no WiFi in your house if you do.... now I can imagine something like this being used by crack dealers. They could pay crackheads to watch for police on the monitors. For legal home use I would not say this is worth the low cost. For a crack dealer it is probably an OK system since they have a surplus of people willing to sit and watch the monitor all night in exchange for a small amount of product at the end of their shift.

Crucial V4 CT064V4SSD2BAA 2.5

Pros: it worked good for about a year

Cons: Let it idle for garbage collection even though it was supposed to support trim DUH way to go crucial this is garbage SSD with No Garbage collection and crippled firmware and garbage controller.. good job jumping into the SSD market by selling paperweights

Other Thoughts: It was supposed to support TRIM, it must not have it failed completely after 18 months, then when checking on the error drive gave me found many references to people with same issue being told by Crucial tech support to plug the drive into a sata port and let it idle for 24 hours for Garbage collection.. This is what TRIM is and it must not have been working at all. GARBAGE DRIVE I WILL NEVER BUY A CRUCIAL PRODUCT AGAIN. Foolish to tell people to let it idle for "Garbage Collection" and then it will work again. Well it didnt. I let it IDLE for 24 hours, then another and another for a full week. It still does not work, sometimes it shows the original partitions but shows RAW or FAT32 rather than NTFS. all attempts at Data recovery Failed with many different tools. when it does show up if you try to do anything like run as ssd or file recovery it just fails out.with various errors - they all really mean one thing This is a useless Brick and it is because their firmware or controller was junk wiyh no Garbage collection. Crucial just lost an IT customer who will never buy again and who will ALWAYS recommend to IT collegues NOT to Nuy any CRUCIAL products such as ssd's or memory. They just lost many customers over this fiasco. they cost me over 30 hours of work due to the useless SSD they sold me.
