Good Memory
Pros: Its Kingston and it has among the lowest latency I could find. It is a huge improvement over my old half gig stick of 2700, load times for everything are much better.
Cons: I believe there is memory out there for less money with about the same speed.
Overall Review: I have used Kingston for several years across many systems and have never had a problem with it. I have tried other brands that worked fine too but for my own personal use I will probably always use Kingston. Stable and reliable.
Yay for SLI
Pros: Good so far, drastic improvement over old 9600xt 128mb, havent tested it with newer games but runs UT04 and Wolf ET without any problems with all settings maxed out, nvidia software is nice, SLI compatible - entry level low cost SLI, 256 mb mem
Cons: There are better SLI GPU's out there, and in another year this one will be obsolete.
Overall Review: Running two of these in SLI and have to say that I have been very pleased with them. Not running the newest games or aps but runs 3D studio and older games very well with zero problems, so im assuming it would do ok with newer games and aps. If your interested in trying out SLI but are on a tight budget, two of these are highly reccommended. On a side note, these two cards do not require the bridge (as far as I know the bridge is usually included with the motherboard and not video card(s))
Good Board
Pros: Easy install, instruction booklet was reasonably understandable, everything on board was labeled fairly well (unlike other companies where I feel as though im guessing and checking), SLI nice option to have, dont think I have seen a blue board before, blue is a nice color.
Cons: Had an issue installing sata drive, not sure if this was the board or OS but it was resolved none the less (not really a big deal at all)
Overall Review: No problems so far, have been using SLI without any issues. Aside from the sata problem have been very happy with it. Even put a big scratch in it on accident with a screw driver and didnt cause a problem. yay.
Excellent cost to performance ratio
Pros: Cheap, substantial improvement over old athlon 2700+, runs very cool, so far very stable, zero problems
Cons: None that I can think of. I could nit pick about other processors being faster/better, but they also cost more.
Overall Review: So far have it running on a basic liquid cooling system (cpu only) and have seen idle around 25 and load less than 30. Fairly impressed by these number as the athlon 2700+ that this replaced was double those two temps.
