This review is from: SAMSUNG 500GB USB 3.0 Portable SSD T1
Pros: Very small and easy to carry anywhere! USB 3.0, so yeah pretty darn fast. It's black! thanks Samsung you get it. No external power cord needed. Great item. amazing how far storage tech has come in such a short time!
Cons: cord is a little stiff, and could use a longer cord!
Other Thoughts: if you are not plugging this into a usb 3.0 port you will not get the fastest speeds offered by this device!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: EnGenius ENS202 N300 Long-Range 2.4GHz Outdoor Wireless Bridge/Access Point
Pros: Excellent range, And well constructed. We live in the country outside of town and ants get into everything. But not this time! Pretty much same setup as most routers. default ip is 192.168.1.1. You have to manually set you're iPv4 settings on your pc to connect to the web interface. Instructions included. and easy to follow. Wiring is a snap. Lots of modes to choose from.
Cons: Good luck changing the default IP on this. after constant resets I gave up. I'm not changing every IP on my network for one device.
No DCHP server which would have solved this problem. Not like I have to worry about double NAT if I am in the garage looking up part numbers for car repairs, etc.
Other Thoughts: Well built device still could use some fine tuning on the firmware.
Excellent device for the price. as most would cost alot more for the range, power, and features. So yeah a steal for the price!
This review is from: TP-LINK Archer T8E AC1750 Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11b PCI Express Up to 1.3Gbps Wireless Data Rates
Pros: This is a Follow up, the Archer T8E will hit the gigabit speeds as advertized. I was only hitting 877Mhz, But after adjusting the antennas I hit 1.7 no sweat!
Other Thoughts: make sure the wireless channel and channel widths match.
the channel width needs to be set in the adapter properties to one that runs on 80Mhz. And do the same in the router settings!
if using DD-WRT.
