Pros: I've had this hard drive for over a month to replace the same spec 100GB version in my Lenovo T61p. Works as expected with the same performance but twice as much capacity (compared to my old 100GB).
I needed the 7200rpm version to run a database-intensive application, and the Segate performs flawlessly.
Cons: None so far.READ FULL REVIEW

Best of all, Newegg has Eggcellent service, that's why I ordered mine from here.
Cons: I had problem connecting my 18-200 VR lens. After mounting the lens, if I rotate the lens clockwise while on the camera, I get F0 as my aperture. If I rotate counter-clockwise again, I get a low battery indicator, and the camera becomes unusable. Have to switch off and on. After researching the net, the problem seems to be with the lens and not the camera. The contacts need to be cleaned using a special cleaner such as DeOxIt.
Other Thoughts: Newegg didn't ship me my free 2GB memory card, but I'm certain I'll get that resolved.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I used Norton Ghost to copy my 40GB Toshiba into the 160GB Samsung. I then placed the new 160GB Samsung into my Toshiba Tecra M2, and it worked like a charm. I’ve used a lot of hard drives before; however, this is the quiet I’ve ever encountered.
I haven’t done any benchmark test, but performance seems fine.
Cons: This is an OEM drive. No screws or jumpers are provided.
Other Thoughts: Other 160GB PATA (IDE) options were Seagate and WesternDigital. This was the least expansive so I thought I’d give it a try.READ FULL REVIEW
