This review is from: Antec Cooling Pad NOTEBOOK COOLER CLASSIC B
Pros: One of the Best Laptop Coolers out there hands down, and I have tried quite a few of them, always coming back to this one. Well built and elegantly designed, great cooling potential and airflow. FYI: I own multiple of these.
Cons: Older Generation of these came with a pass-through USB power plug, why would Antec backpedal on this?
Incredibly Bright Blue LED
Other Thoughts: NE doesn't go out of their way to point this out, but this is the Antec 25 year Anniversary Special Edition of this cooler.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The box came with a molded foam insert for the PSU to prevent any damage in shipping. FULLY MODULAR! Yes, every cable. The modular cables came in their own (seemingly waterproof?) bag designed for portability. Almost non-existent ripple and noise. Superb voltage regulation. Great build quality. Quiet and extremely efficient. The heatsink and unit is so efficient that the fan is turned off or running at really low rpm most of the time. Seasonic just keeps pushing the bar higher and higher every generation!
Cons: Only cons are the regular price (i got this on sale so it wasn't a con for me) and the 5VSB is a little low but still in spec (4.84V /4838mV).
Other Thoughts: This PSU also came wrapped in a velvet bag which is cool but IMO a little excessive. The portable, seemingly waterproof, modular cable bag was a little odd too. Also given how awesome this PSU is, even at the regular price, its a good buy. Would be nice if it was a little cheaper though.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Amazing price and amazing power supply. This has to be one of the quietest high wattage PSU's I have heard. This is the power supply I would recommend if somebody needed a 750watt. Being the core hardware was made by Seasonic and PCP&C has been known as the top dog for years I was not surprised.
Cons: PC Power & Coolings packaging has gone downhill since OCZ bought the company. Nothing was bubble wrapped or anything (they used to be). The PSU was just placed in the box without any form of packing outside of cardboard pop-outs to hold the power supply in place. The new manual isn't as good as before the OCZ takeover either. This is the ONLY reason I am giving this 4 eggs.
Other Thoughts: I can only hope that OCZ's changes were superficial and that corners haven't been cut with the hardware itself.READ FULL REVIEW
