Pros: The scale is stylishly simple to look at and has a solid feel to it, implying durability. Readings are precise to a tenth of a pound. Auto shut off of digital readout extends life of the batteries.

Overall Review: I first thought when I received the scale that the view port had been scratched and dinged at the factory. Investigating further, I discovered a fairly substantial circle of protective plastic covering the port. I needed a knife edge to peel it off. The view port was very clear and unscratched under the plastic.
