Memories....in the corner of my SDA
Pros: Works flawlessly in my T-mobile SDA.
Cons: None
2nd DOA in this series
Pros: Shows how ridiculous all the "shielding" and fan work is on the Mark 1. There's just not that much under that cladding to justify the price difference. I bought the Mark 2 after the Mark 1 came DOA due to two dimms being dead along with some bent pins.
Cons: Started up great. Was getting excited to install and OS. Then my USB mouse and keyboard stopped working. I looked into the UEFI bios and it showed I had two keyboards connected and one mouse. Weird. I tried the other 6 usb ports. Half the legacy USB ports worked. The other half were intermittent and randomly working. The back I/O USB 3.0 worked everytime. The USB 3.0 header for both connections on the MOBO were DOA.
Overall Review: Done with ASUS. Great concept, but its a gamble. At least for me. Hope those reading this have better luck.
DOA
Pros: Looks great. Plenty of tweaking for the average user.
Cons: small fans make loud noise when winding up. quality control not that great
Overall Review: dimm a1 b2 dead. closer inspection showed bent pins on the right hand side of the cpu pin bed.
Nice
Pros: works
Cons: none
Overall Review: life is like a peach, careful you don't bite into the pit
I'm a little wired...from great svc!
Pros: I got this in one day. From CA to WA. Pretty amazing feat considering it was not overnighted. The wire is a good wire. Monster is always very highly priced, marketing and hype usually but this is a good wire for people just getting into home theater.
Cons: Not cryo.
Meaty, but with old fashioned juiciness!
Pros: Pretty cables, modular, fancy shmancy. pci-e sli ready with their own powersupplied lines.
Cons: nada
Overall Review: My APEVIA (ASPIRE) X-QPACK-RD/420 MicroATX Desktop Computer Case 420W Power Supply was starting to shut itself off again, so I called newegg. They wanted to replace with another aspire psu, but I wanted something meatier, juicier. So they gave me a credit towards the purchase of this badboy. It actually fits nicely in my micro atx, but I had to put the intake fan pointing up, which is no problem because I leave my case off anyway. The reason is because the dvd drive wanted to push up against the cords. Don't hesitate, this baby is worth it. My entire system is rock solid stable and super quiet! WTG Enermax and New EGG!!!
