Pros: BF3 = 1920 x 1080 Ultra Settings, uses roughly 65% of both cores. Average FPS is 80-90 fps on Stock settings. Heat: I run EVGA software to monitor my fan speed and have it run 100% at anything over 50c' My max temp during BF3 play is 61c' Noise: Yes the fan is a bit loud. I've invested into liquid cooling but ran into an issue with the cooler fitting properly. EVGA will say that all their GTX 590's are reference cards. Thus there has to be a defect with the water block. This issue is under investigation with the waterblock company as i write this review. The card itself performs very nice and is very stable. I don't believe that i've had any crashes as a result of the graphics card. BIOS: My card came with the latest BIOS and did not require any flashing.
Cons: Fan Noise: a bit to loud for my wife. Hence the liquid cooling replacement noted in the above comment.
Overall Review: I also bought a sound card that uses PIC-E slots and when plugged into anything other than PCI-E x1 i would drop my GPU1 core. This could be motherboard related or sound card related. I have several open tickets open with the manufacture of the motherboard/sound card. This issue does not appear to be graphics card related. I only play BF3 right now so i only have BF3 information. Sorry for anyone who plays anything else.
Pros: works great looks great and has good speed. Using DD-WRT firmware and am Very Happy with the outcome. Not yet utilizing the USB Features on the router although with the DD-WRT firmware the reporting and QOS works wonderful. Signal strength and stability is great!
Cons: none at the moment
Overall Review: Very happy with the purchase.
Pros: works!
Cons: None thus far
Overall Review: Drive came as described, works, and was a decent price. I am happy with the purchase.
H.U.G.E.
Pros: Ventilation: Amazing Size: eggcellently large! Filters: Easy to clean. HINT: Remove any filters in front of Exhaust ports for increased air flow. Radiators: XSPC Rasa RX360, or larger, will fit without any complications in the TOP or Front. Use 6/32 x 3/8" screws to attach RX360 to the top. You can also fit a 4 fan radiator in the front and a RX240 in the bottom with the power supply. Color: I went all black because i like classic. Space: there is about 1.3" of space behind the motherboard tray for cable management. Seething: if you hate colors buy at least 20' of sheathing to cover the chassis cables + fan cables.
Cons: Noctua CPU Cooler will not fit: I am currently running on AIR as my GTX 590 water block has not arrived yet. Thus i am still running my Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler. With the large fan on the side panel i am UNABLE to close/lock the side window/panel. The thickness of the side fan, roughly 1.3" or so, the fan touches the Noctua.
Overall Review: The case will obviously become quite heavy so brace yourself. If you look at the side picture (in the picture section) there are two squares cut out. One is large and one is small. Your standard ATX motherboard just lines up with the left side of the smaller square. So be prepared to somehow plug the 'smaller' square with a piece of painted aluminum or something. (if you are a visual person). Otherwise it doesn't look to bad. But at least you now have a perspective of how much room is within the case. Eggselect Gamming Monitor
Pros: Zero Ghosting on BF3 (its all i play). I do play at max rez 1920x1080 (with GTX 590). Colors are very bright/crisp and true. Like the review below mentions, whites are white and blacks are..well.. a dark dark grey in gaming mode and black in theater mode. Gaming mode is nice because dark dark rooms are 'just!' bright enough to see in without complications. Zero dead pixels and complications thus far. It has very relaxed movement capabilities for fine adjustments. Wiggling the table does not shake the monitor like it might with lesser screens. Very stable and easy on the eyes.
Cons: Switching between DVI and VGA does take 2-3 seconds. Not a big deal but I'm use to faster switches with other models. And really.. how often do you switch? Just when working on the neighbors desktop because they obtained a virus 'somehow!'
Overall Review: The larger bar at the bottom didnt make much sense until i realized how thin the screen was. It is no thicker than a standard laptop screen. As a direct result the controls, power input etc, need somewhere to go. The bottom bar looks perfectly fine once you remove the sticker(s). The height of the screen is standard, the black bottom bar just fills the gap between the bottom of your screen and the tabletop. So the physical screen is a common height therefore lines up nice when placing two separate models side by side. The power brick is small and can fit behind the monitor without complication's. I have mine leaning in behind the monitor in the stand. The screen has two setup modes. 1) standard setup with monitor stand. 2) Picture Mode, which you remove the stand and let the screen sit directly on your desktop. I kept the standard setup for now.
