Very Fast
Pros: Very fast - Windows logo does not have time to fully load. Boots in about 20 seconds. From hibernation in under 10 seconds. Programs pop up and are ready to use. Lower power consumption (roughly 2 watts), adds to battery life. Magician software means no guesswork tuning.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Very easy clone using Windows 7 software's image/restore. Discovered Win7 repair/restore (from cd) won't recognize image HDD on USB3 port (just plugged into USB2). Magician software tuned the new drive in about 3 minutes - time mostly spent by me reading to see which boxes to check. Bought on sale, so just bare drive-didn't realize I needed a spacer (drive is 7mm thick and laptop HDD is 9.5mm) so went to auto parts store and got some 3/32" o-rings to use as spacers. O-rings were $0.59 each. So far no problems. Drive is worth the (sale) price. Best upgrade I have ever done.
Died within a week
Pros: Large capacity
Cons: Worked for a less than week, then started clicking and very slow access, deteriorated from there.
Overall Review: I do not recommend this drive
Very Good Monitor
Pros: Stand is one of the best I have seen, glides up and down, very easy to use to pivot monitor and the swivel base is smooth. USB is very convenient. Monitor is very sharp and colors are very good.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: Use these in dual monitor setups and one is usually vertical and the other horizontal. Do a lot of spreadsheet work and I can have the best of both worlds. Bought on sale so very much worth the money
Great value
Pros: Good battery life (sleeps when there is no activity). Charges fast. Pairs easy with all phones I have tried it with. Can be turned up LOUD. Sound quality generally good. Controls are easy to use - has only 0ne main control- volume wheel and press volume wheel switch. Feedback is provided by multi colors LED and audio beeps. Unit will shut down when phone stays out of range for a while - then needs to be restarted. Controls are easy to understand and use. Works with voice commands so in most cases is entirely hands free (meaning legal to use most anywhere).
Cons: None
Overall Review: Besides using this in several cars, I often use this in the house with my phone plugged into the charger - just use it like a handset. Works with voice commands so never have to use the "base" unless I need to dial a number not in contact list (never tried that before). Purchased on a sale with great Newegg service.
Great for traders
Pros: Easily add more monitors with this device. Installs easy and works well. Includes VGA-DVI adapter.
Cons: USB cable is pretty flimsy. I just unrolled it and left it that way.
Overall Review: I trade with several monitors using a Toshiba Tecra laptop. I move back and forth between two locations which are set up with similiar monitors (which I do not move). The EVGA allows me to extend my screen real estate significantly. Works good and is small and easily packable. Newegg purchase.
