Perfect for Point of Sale systems
Pros: Compact Serial ports
Cons: None
Overall Review: I am using these for Point of Sale stations and they work perfectly. Their small size is easily concealable. While the serial ports might be legacy, their addition is valuable as it allows me to connect receipt printers to them.
Sony Optiarc
Pros: Works
Cons: Loud
Overall Review: The Optiarc drive is effective. I have it in an HTPC setup. The drive is quite loud, however, if you have the audio turned up, it is a non-issue. Still, this is one of the loudest drives I've ever used.
As expected
Pros: Works as expected
Cons: None
Overall Review: Works well for a Point of Sale system utilizing serial printers.
Pros: Durability Ease of cleaning
Cons: Difficult to type on
Overall Review: I have these keyboards installed at one of my restaurants for use with the Point of Sale systems. They are not often used, but occasionally, messages need to be sent via the system. They are somewhat difficult to type on, however, with low traffic, this is overshadowed by their durability and waterproof attributes. In the restaurant environment, they perform well.
Worth Every Penny
Pros: This monitor came to me in an impeccable condition. The screen is bright, the color depth is acceptable for an LCD, and the refresh rate is good. I enjoy this monitor very much.
Cons: The speakers are trash, but if you plan on using the speakers, you should consider buying a sound system before this monitor.
Superb MP4 Player
Pros: - 262,144 color screen - Good battery life - FM Radio - Voice Recorder - Wide format support - Programmable shortcut button - Browseable without software
Cons: - Somewhat poor software - Slightly thick. - No gapless playback
Overall Review: Wow, this thing is just a beauty. Playing movies on this is superb and it supports a wide range of video formats. It does as advertised with the sound as well, and the FM radio is reasonably powerful. I love not having to depend on the software and being able to use 3rd party programs to load my Zen. The controls are elegant, the shortcut button is amazing, though the scroll pad takes some time to get used to. This is a must buy for the informed consumer.
