M is for Mushkin
Pros: Very good stable ram, running at good clock speeds and good CAS timing.
Cons: Bit wide, but still fits in the slots on the Asus M3A78-T.
Overall Review: Mushkin, why must I love you so?
Awesome.
Pros: All slots on this board work flawlessly. Bios update was easy, big CPU wattage capability, overclocks easily. Lots of usb and sata connectors.
Cons: The 90degree sata ports are a little hard to use, need to have a very large case for them to be worthwhile. Had to update bios to get full power from Phenom II 940.
Overall Review: Apart from having to update the bios to get the latest Phenom II's to work at full power this board offers a lot of bang for the buck, and hs a very healthy list of compatible Ram. Stats: Phenom II 940 3.0ghz(OC'ed to 3.4ghz), 4gb Mushkin Ram (2x2gb) DDR2 at 1066Mhz, Asus ATI-4870 1gb, Cosair 750w
Delightful travel companion
Pros: This little travel book has changed my college career!! I've gone almost paperless and have been able to turn notes in class into wonderful papers. The included M$ Works software is real handy and works well for those who remember older versions of office. The wireless capability is real slick and the range you can get from the WAP before going to low connectivity is astounding. XP home install is clean, and runs well.
Cons: The battery wiggles a little and occasionally the touch pad will miss read a gesture. Keyboard layout is a quick learning curve, main problem is right shift placement.
Overall Review: For the price and capability this laptop is almost a must have!!
