macally GS350SU 3.5" Silver SATA USB 2.0 & eSATA SATA Hard Drive Enclosure
macally GS350SU 3.5" Silver SATA USB 2.0 & eSATA SATA Hard Drive Enclosure

Pros: Looks nice. Wife approved. Works great. Silent (no fans)

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: Wow, looks like others have had bad luck, but guess I was lucky. I threw in a 1.5TB WD that I had laying around, plugged it into my iMac, done. No issues so far. Performance seems as good as any other externals I've used. It's sitting on base of my iMac now. It blends in enough that it doesn't bother the wife.

OK camera ruined by annoying feature

SAMSUNG TL105 Red 12.2 MP 4X Optical Zoom 27.5mm Wide Angle Digital Camera
SAMSUNG TL105 Red 12.2 MP 4X Optical Zoom 27.5mm Wide Angle Digital Camera

Pros: OK quality pictures, pretty good quality videos. Has a lot of preset options for photo types, e.g. Kids (quick shutter), small objects, scenery, etc).

Cons: Have to jump through menu selection to switch between capturing a video & taking a picture. This is extremely annoying as every time I want to capture special moments with my daughter, I miss it by the time I get done selecting. They should have easy button selection for photo or video. Auto setting for photos flips out frequently resulting in very over exposed photos in descent light or very dark pictures in low light.

Overall Review: When auto setting works - maybe 80% of the time with my use, it works pretty well. I had been loving Samsung products lately (blu-ray, tv, appliances) so I was pretty disappointed by this camera.

Uncomfortable as heck

TekNmotion PulseWave • V2 3.5mm/ USB Connector Circumaural Nex-Gen Premium PC Gaming Headset
TekNmotion PulseWave • V2 3.5mm/ USB Connector Circumaural Nex-Gen Premium PC Gaming Headset

Pros: Pretty good sound quality

Cons: The most uncomfortable headphones I've ever tried. The earphone pads are too large to be on ear but too small to be over the ear. Shape of holes in headphone pads suggest they were designed for some sort of... cat maybe? Extraordinarily uncomfortable on ears. When headphones are apart (i.e. have even a small head in them) the top part between earphones is a flat bar, not rounded surface. This flat bar on the top of your head results in a very small pressure point. It feels like I have a claw hammer sitting on my head.

Overall Review: Were these designed for humans? Give it 3 starts despite being unusably due to discomfort. They do have a good sound. Maybe if you have an extremely tiny head they might feel better. I have average size noggin, but I am 6'1" so maybe I am larger than average user.

Terrible quality

ENERMAX Chakra ECA3052B Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Case Front I/O Interface w/1 eSata, 2 USB2.0 and Audio I/O Ports
ENERMAX Chakra ECA3052B Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Case Front I/O Interface w/1 eSata, 2 USB2.0 and Audio I/O Ports

Pros: Looks nice, big quiet fan

Cons: flimsy construction, nothing fits *sent mis-matched standoffs 4-40,6-32, most were stripped internally * less than 4 good standoffs. I had to cannibalize another case. * holes for standoffs inside case were stripped/mis-tapped * flimsy card holder does not work *can't use thumb screws instead of card holder in expansion slots because they DID NOT EVEN tap the screw holes.

Overall Review: Enermax used to make nice equipment. This may be the worst quality case that I've ever had.

Great

Genius MIC-01A Black 3.5mm Connector Metallic Microphone
Genius MIC-01A Black 3.5mm Connector Metallic Microphone

Pros: Sounds great. Cheap

Cons: None

Overall Review: This works great. Plugged it in, upped the mic volume in windows & Ventrilo and thing worked perfectly. Everyone hears me crystal clear. Unbelievable that something so cheap works so well.

Cheap quality - save your money

Turtle Beach Ear Force X-52 Circumaural 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset
Turtle Beach Ear Force X-52 Circumaural 5.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset

Pros: Audio sounded fine. (Not much better than $15 headphones though).

Cons: Cheap Junk. Literally, the 4th time I put these headphones on they broke. Plastic piece attaching right can to headset snapped. Now I have $50 paper weight. When they did work, they were not very comfortable. Cans placed somewhat awkwardly to headpiece.

Overall Review: Pad on can that goes over ear very small & completely round. I mean, have you ever seen a human with small & perfectly round ears? Anyways since my ears are oblong like most peoples, the foam piece scraped the the top of the ear which made it very uncomfortable after about 1hr use.
