Most Favorable Review

Monster of its time.

EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-N871-AR
EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card 512-P3-N871-AR

Pros: After owning this card for a year and a half it's still going strong. Overclocking it 10% most of the time when gaming. EVGA Precision is a great tool. any game I throw at it it runs very well. Even the newest releases. running 2 screens at 1920x1200 all the time. Can easily handle a graphics intense game on one screen and an 1080p movie in the other. I'm looking to sell mine to get a 5870. so I'm also happy to see it's held good value. So it can easily pay for a good part of my new one.

Cons: Power hungry but I expect nothing less from something that surely uses the power it consumes. Can get pretty warm in the summer(upwards of 80c but still working well), I usually just cut back on the overclocking a bit.

Overall Review: Thanks EVGA and Newegg for this great product. and Nvidia of course.

AMD FX-9590 Vishera 4.7GHz Socket AM3+ 220W 8-Core Desktop Processor - Black Edition FD9590FHHKWOX with Liquid Cooling Kit
AMD FX-9590 Vishera 4.7GHz Socket AM3+ 220W 8-Core Desktop Processor - Black Edition FD9590FHHKWOX with Liquid Cooling Kit

Pros: - very fast, when it works.

Cons: - I really lost the silocon lottory on this one. - CPU was unstable at stock speeds, had to underclock it to 80% to get it to run stable - Still died faster than any other component that I've ever had (WD HDD's dont count, that's normal :P). Never overclocked it or anything. - The stock CPU cooler is very loud. - CPU runs very hot, i suggest an aftermarket cooler.

Overall Review: - Running with a Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z MOBO. This board was recommended for running this CPU.

Small word of caution.

GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card
GIGABYTE GV-N770OC-2GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

Pros: Great card that does everything i need it to, The cuda proccessing is well beyond my last 660 gtx

Cons: This is a longest card I've ever had (longer even then the EVGA 9800 GTX) I actually had to re-position a couple HDDs and bend part of my hdd rack with some pliers case to make it fit (it's a raidmax smilodon). But that doesn't really bother me personaly.

good

APEVIA Chameleon ATX-AS550W-BK 550 W ATX12V Power Supply
APEVIA Chameleon ATX-AS550W-BK 550 W ATX12V Power Supply

Pros: Used heavily for 3 years at overclocking voltages. Probably near the end of it's life but I still have it as a backup, it fired up a friends computer last time I tried. My computer just requires more power so I had to replace it.

Cons: Perhaps only that it has to go to waist. for many people in just 4 years.

Overall Review: Seems like repair would be pretty straight forward and these are plenty powerful to run most desktop computers. swap a fan and a case and you have a pretty generic looking PSU. Then use the fancy case for a refurbished model with higher Wattage.

RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WB Black / Silver 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case
RAIDMAX SMILODON ATX-612WB Black / Silver 1.0mm SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Foldout MB Computer Case

Pros: screwless, snap in hard drive rails. screwless cd drive install. storage container for scews and extra parts. cool lighting. front usb and audio work as expected. my bluetooth dongle fits behind the door(keeps me from stepping on it and breaking it :) lots of rear usb slots(6) never thought I would use them all, but I did. removable hard drive box, only useful when no graphics card is in the way. gives access to install HDD case fan( cant remember if it came with it.)

Cons: standard case cooling may not be enough for faster systems. I've always run with the side of the case off anyway so it's no issue to me.

fricken sweet

iCEMAT 10060 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Circumaural Siberia Headset
iCEMAT 10060 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Circumaural Siberia Headset

Pros: simply awesome, super clear and great bass, not only that they are COMFORTABLE! i'll play wow for hours and forget i have them on and walk out of the room and get em yanked off, witch is another thing, there durable as hell...you wouldent think so but i've steprd on them a few times and they just flex flat and don't break. i've had for over a year and never had a problem with them. Nice thick cord for the headphones themselfs, microphone one is kinda dinky but thats normal for the little mics, witch is pretty clear sounding and you can clip it anywhere

Cons: having 2 cords for the mic and the headphones can get a bit annoying but i've learned to deal with it, you could just ziptie them together if ya wanted

Overall Review: there light too for how big they are
