Big Bang for your Buck

Pros: Cost, PWM fan moves a lot of air, direct contact with pipes
Cons: none
Overall Review: Installation was very straight forward. There are instructions that specify which holes to use (although I had it easy with an AM3+). It really is whisper quiet at low speeds and cycles down to about 1000 RPM according to HWMonitor. Under load the fan is very audible (I don't mind it at all). The rubber fan mounts are very cool and feel solid. I thought I'd try Silverstone after reading several reviews and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Using the AR01 to cool my first overclock has been a breeze and, though I'm sure the performance doesn't really approach a Noctua heat sink's, I really can't complain at 1/3 the cost.
Wonderful at first

Pros: Very quiet idle, moves lots of air
Cons: After a month or so, there is a nasty grinding sound when the fan switches to a higher output. Also, the screws that came with the fan did not work with the Cooler Master HAF 912 I had recently purchased--not a huge deal, but it was annoying.
Overall Review: For the first few weeks, the fan worked like a dream. It is still barely audible when idle, but those transitions are VERY loud. When the PC is at about half load, the fan stays in that highly audible middle ground between speeds.
Excellent Drive

Pros: Very quick for a mechanical drive--especially reading.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Very happy with the drive. I purchased a W.D. blue and it was DOA. Replaced it with this and I'm glad I did.
