Everything I wanted

Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless Headphones with Microphone
Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless Headphones with Microphone

Pros: Good range (transmits from my second floor bedroom all the way into my basement with minimal issues; about 30-40 feet through several floors). Worked "out of box" in Linux (Debian 7 build tested) as well as in Mac OS X Maverick. Incredibly long battery life.

Cons: None found.

Overall Review: Not the most comfortable headset I've ever worn, but good enough (in context, this device isn't uncomfortable, it's just not quite as padded as my Razer Carcharias).

Most Critical Review

Kind of snug and cheap quality

XION Solaris XON-403 Black with Green LED Light Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
XION Solaris XON-403 Black with Green LED Light Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Looks pretty. Compact and easy to move. Standard fans run quiet. Haven't had any heating issues with AMD Phenom 9600 Agena 2.3GHz Socket AM2+, Nvidia 9800 GTX+, and MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum mobo.

Cons: Came with bad front audio; didn't care enough to send it back. Case material seems cheap to me; the side panel bends easy, but if you're gentle to it you should be fine.

Overall Review: Very tight with an Nvidia 9800 GTX+; only had enough room for two hard drives because of the space reserved for a front case fan.

RB/2011UiAS-2HnD-IN - MikroTik RouterBOARD RB/2011UiAS-2HnD-IN (complete with case, antennas, power supply, touchscreen LCD panel, fiber-enabled)

Pros: Supports advanced configurations; Stable performance; comes with default configuration that should work for most home networks that do not need port forwarding or other settings enabled.

Cons: Does not support wireless N; wireless configuration and port forwarding require intimate knowledge/familiarity with Router OS.

Overall Review: Learning Router OS has been fun, but challenging. Configuring the device's NAT rules, wireless, etc were daunting at first and I spent upwards of 12 hours learning/testing how to configure this device. If you aren't familiar with Router OS or don't want to spend hours learning, then stay away!

Top value CPU right now

AMD FX-6350 - FX-6000 Series Vishera 6-Core 3.9 GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor - FD6350FRHKBOX

Pros: Running Debian x64 in stable condition 24/7 for the last several weeks on an ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0. This CPU has easily handled an ARMA 3 dedicated server without breaking a sweat even after loading 24+ mods.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Had some initial setup issues getting the system to post, but after some testing the issue was isolated to a bad RAM stick and resolved.
