Pros: Arrived quickly, works perfectly

Cons: I was afraid by reading the instruction book I was going to be prompted to format the drive. Thankfully I didn't have to. Wait, is that a con?

Overall Review: I waited two years to recover data off a drive that was sitting on the workbench after the motherboard fried in 2012. Previous attempts to use it as a second drive always failed-- either Windows didn't see the drive or wanted to format it. I hooked everything up and bright blue lights signaled the connection and right there on my Windows 7 machine was the dormant sleeping drive --showing up with all my missing data. Now I am going to buy an IDE to USB device thru NewEgg to recover data from older drives that have been sitting in the shop for years. I will be using this tool in the future where needed. Why buy a $80 USB External HD when for around $25 this works just the same?
