LOW POWER RAIL FAILED
Pros: Powerful. Quiet. Lots of cabling options.
Cons: 2 rails for +12v. Wish it were one.
Overall Review: Low power rail failed after about 1-1/2 weeks use. Got vertical bars on one of the video cards, Would let things cool down. Restart, vertical bars, then 60 cycle hum.. like a failed filter cap. After a few more tries... nothing; machine would not boot. Had a second p/s available. Hooked it up to the video card... problem went away. Pulled cables from p/s powering card that failed to run. Found black coloring on the 3 12v pins. Will have to return for warranty repair since it is out of Egg RMA time frame.
Still Working
Pros: Have 8 in a NAS Raid 6 for 10 months. Powered on 24/7/365. No problems to date. Perform data scrubbing and deep SMART tests every so often. No signs of impending death or failure or degradation. No issues at all. Fingers crossed they get past the 1 yr. mark without issues, and keep on going....
Cons: None at all.
Overall Review: Drives are quiet. Only hear them very slightly when spinning up after a reset for NAS firmware upgrades. Run relatively cool considering all 8 are closely side-by-side. Coolest 32C/90F, warmest 35C/95F... Not bad at all!
Works Very Well For Me
Pros: Easy installation. Not excessively long or heavy. Runs cool. Good price point. 2x 6-pin power. 2x Quiet fans. Solid, sturdy build, no 'creaks' when flexing board.
Cons: Sitting here looking at it.... maybe the plastic shrouds over the fans is a bit flimsy, but no effect on performance... its plastic! Not really a con as far as the performance goes. I have no other 'complaints' if you could call that a complaint.
Overall Review: Built new rig and wanted an upper mid-level card that had enough streams and a reasonable clock speed to run BOINC math projects. This card does not disappoint. Running 100% loaded on math projects, and temp runs at 132F with fans set to 'Optimum' using H100i Corsair Link software. Very efficient cooling system... when I set fan speed to 'Max' it increased the fan speed several hundred RPM, with only a 3 degree lowering of temps, so this tells me the basic cooling system is pretty near perfect for fully loaded processing. I stopped by the Newegg site to buy another, and thought I'd add this review while I was here. Enjoy your card!
Nice Device
Pros: Fast, even on USB 2. Cover/cap snaps on firmly. No fear of loss in my usage.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Fast on USB 2.0, real fast on USB 3.0 ports. Well worth the money for a Mushkin. I use it typically for large engineering file moves between computers not networked together. I've used Mushkin memory on BOINC crunchers and was well pleased, so went with Mushkin for a 'thumb' drive, and am very happy I did.
GOOD P/S
Pros: Inexpensive, quiet, low cost (comparative), readily available from The Egg, lightweight, connectors for basic hookups.
Cons: None. Price went up 25% in the last 6 months! Good ole' US Dollar devaluation. How's that hope and change working for you?
Overall Review: Have 6 of these running 24/7/365 on BOINC crunchers. Had my first failure last week. Not too bad for a very inexpensive p/s!! Am buying more.
Great mobo
Pros: have 2 of these. very easy setup. using Q6700's, 2x1GB ram, cd/dvd, 1-sata drive. using onboard video and lan. NO problems. will be buying more. OS is Xubuntu 8.04.1. Absolutely no problems. many o'c features if you do a ctl-f1 while in bios setup mode.
Cons: none.
I came back for more
Bought a 24-inch monitor. I was so Impressed with the service and price I went back and bought another a week later.
Fast! Great Service
Ordered thru the EGG, Antonline had the best price of several sellers; fast delivery. Product arrived in good condition. My first order went so well, I ordered a second monitor one week later. Both shipments arrived faster than expected with up to date tracking info. Again, great service from Antonline.
