Pros: Easy and Mac formatted, no external power necissary. Worked great, when it worked...

Cons: The first one I got had the power supply short out after I had put some stuff on it and then plugged it into my roommate's Power Mac G5 to back up some of his files. When I plugged it in via Firewire it shut down the computer immediately and crashed the drive, apparently blowing out the internal power supply. After that plugging it in to any computer it just made a high-pitched electric sound and wouldn't spin up or load on the computer. Sent that back for a replacement figuring a fluke, then the new one did the same thing after functioning fine for about a week. Not sure what it is, but the power supplies on these seems to be pretty shotty.
