ADATA DashDrive Series UV128 16GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Black/Yellow (AUV128-16G-RBY)
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Price. Got it for $8.
No cap. Caps suck.
Looks cool.

Cons: Since this is at a low price point 35MB read 15MB write. Not a speed demon.

Other Thoughts: For the price it's the best. I've got yumi with about seven different OS's. They all work fine. I would buy again, and recommend this.

BUFFALO AirStation N150 Wireless Router - WCR-GN

5 out of 5 eggs Best router I've ever owned. 08/19/2012

This review is from: BUFFALO AirStation N150 Wireless Router - WCR-GN

Pros: Price. 13.99 after rebate. It's so small! I had 18 torrents running with over 1200 simultaneous connections and it worked like a champ. It supports multiple SSID's and seperate feature (which allows you to create a public network that cannot access the private wireless network)! So cool.

Cons: The range isn't that great, but it works for my house. Doesn't have lights to show a link on each ethernet port (I don't care). I read they make a HP (high powered version of this router) if you need range over 50 feet you'll probably want that one.

Other Thoughts: This is the best router I've ever owned. It just replaced a FreeBSD box with two network cards. I can't believe I've finally found a router that can handle over a thousand simultaneous connections and not lock up. I love this router. The seperate feature in wireless settings is the coolest thing I've ever seen. I had never even heard of that before purchasing this router. I'm going to get another one of these for 13.99. I am so happy with this router. Thank you Buffalo!

D-Link DIR-501 Wireless N 150 Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11n/g

5 out of 5 eggs Lots of config options for $15 07/10/2012

This review is from: D-Link DIR-501 Wireless N 150 Router IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11n/g

Pros: Wireless N, easy to configure. Lots of configuration options like assigning IP's to MAC addressess (wish every router had this).

Cons: While simple to configure, every configuration seems like it wants to disconnect the router from the Internet and reconnect it (so it takes about 45 seconds). Also, I couldn't get the configuration screen to come up without it being connected to a WAN (the internet plugged in). It locks up on a detecting WAN url link.

Other Thoughts: I got it for 14.99 and was going to buy two more of these just to have them at such a cheap price, but now just two days later the price jumped up $10.00 so I won't be ordering them.
