It's a DVD drive! It's cheap!
Pros: It plays and burns the usual gamut of CD-ROM/R/RW DVD-ROM/-R/+R/-RW/+RW. And also apparently supports M-Disc (a long term archiving format).
Cons: Doesn't support Lightscribe or Bluray (not really a con as it never claimed to...)
Overall Review: Bought to replace my old IDE burner for my new build and it works exactly as you'd expect.
Not for gaming!
Pros: Rock solid reliability, excellent OC and heat/power management. Cheap
Cons: Won't properly fit a full sized graphics card (HD7770) without blocking all but one expansion slot and 2 SATA ports. Meaning only 1 HDD + DVD, and if you use WiFi then you have 0 expansion slots.
Overall Review: Unless you're building an HTPC of SFF PC, stick with a full ATX mobo.
It works!
Pros: It works, and it's reasonably quick.
Cons: none
Overall Review: Get a bigger drive.
Very useful.
Pros: Turns all my old SATA hard drives (2.5 & 3.5) into backup units! Has an off switch. Feels substantial.
Cons: Transfers can be slow (expected over USB2). Sometimes the drive needs to be reinserted to make a proper connection. Uses a wall-wart power supply; the thing's heavy enough why didn't they put the transformer in the device?
Good looking case.
Pros: This case looks awesome. And the build quality actually feels pretty good. I especially like how the inside is also black and the acrylic is tinted. It really adds to the look. Feels to be of decent build quality; not much plastic to break. The SD card reader is handy. 4 front USB ports (2x USB2 and another 2x USB3). Thumbscrews for the panels make it easy to open up.
Cons: If you install an optical drive it looks a little weird as the covers are angled, but the drive is obviously flat. Not immediately obvious how to remove the covers. Still can't figure out the tool-less optical system (also feels very cheap), so I just S C R E W E D it in. The expansion slot system is also a little weird (the screws are on the outside of the case)
Overall Review: The verb for inserting screws is one that comes up fairly frequently in PC building, take note newegg.
Very comfortable, decent sound.
Pros: Unlike most headphones that usually features some kind of padded plastic around the earpiece, this uses a mesh/foam material that's way more comfortable. The cups and frame are actually big enough for my giant ears/head. The sound is pretty good, and the build quality is very good.
Cons: The cups seem "loose", not likely an issue in any way other than if you shake it the cups rattle.
Overall Review: Haven't made use of the mic yet. The cord has a detach point with a smartphone style 4-conductor TRS plug, but the full cord has the PC-style plugs. $35 is the most I've ever spent on headphones, and I have to say it really is worth the extra cash.
