NOT compatible with Core i5

Pros: IPMI is AMAZING, how did I ever live without it? Lots of expansion flexibility, plenty of onboard SATA, plenty of DIMM slots, dual GB LAN.
Cons: Does NOT support Core i5 Dual-Core CPU's as Newegg states. Causes error message to post interrupting boot, disabling error messages will allow boot to proceed uninterrupted however VT-d will not work properly. No SATA 6.0, no USB 3.0, but this being a server-board I wasn't looking for bleeding edge consumer-board tech.
Overall Review: Great MB, good value for the money, rock solid Supermicro quality, IPMI!!, plenty of flexibility with CPU support and expansion slots. Great ESXi MB. Very happy with this mb.
DOA

Pros: DOA. Comcast was able to register the new modem but the device was never able to connect properly. It continues to cycle through trying to connect, as others have experienced.
Cons: I've seen mention of MAC ID problems, firmware problems, etc, from those who've had a malfunctioning unit. It's impossible to independently verify from Comcast or Motorola what the true problem is, so it's pretty much hit or miss.
Overall Review: Reconnected old modem after Comcast support tried fixing the problem, it works fine. I hate Comcast, horrible service at horrible prices, but due to their lobbying (otherwise known as bribery) and anti-competitive efforts in the US they're the fastest consumer ISP in town. A lack of competition is killing innovation. Demand an end to congressional bribery and corporate personhood.
